Delhi anti-Hindu riots ground report: Islamist mob in Delhi’s Chand Bagh forcibly occupied a Shiv Mandir, hurled stones at Hindus from the roof

0

Hindu residents of Delhi’s Chand Bagh continue to share the horrific accounts of how their houses, shops and places of worship are being attacked, torched, vandalised by the frenzied Islamist fundamentalists who have converted the anti-CAA protest to anti-Hindu riots in the national capital.

Apart from claiming the lives of several Hindus, these frenzied Islamist goons have also vandalised and burned Hindu owned shops and many temples. One such Shiv Mandir in Delhi’s Chand Bagh area which OpIndia visited, was also a witness to these riots.

Local Hindus’ speaking to OpIndia said that a crowd of Muslims, mostly youths, approached through Mustafabad in Delhi. They all gathered on the bridge of Chand Bagh. From there, they reached Aam Aadmi Party councillor Tahir Hussain’s building. They went to the terrace, from where they started throwing stones and petrol bombs.

These locals also revealed to Opindia that the Muslim crowd captured a Shiv temple by climbing on to the roof of the temple, placing ladders at the back yard of the Shiva temple. Apart from forcibly occupying the temple, the Islamist goons also captured the surrounding Hindu houses.

The mob allegedly vandalised the temple, after which they climbed the roof of the Shiv Mandir and started pelting stones on the Hindus from there. On one side there was stone pelting from the roof of Tahir Hussain’s building, and on the other side, there was stone pelting from the temple, divulged the devastated Hindu’s of Chand Bagh.

It becomes imperative to note here that Tahir Hussain is the AAP leader from whose terrace, not just petrol bombs, but sacks full of brick pieces, stones, acid packs and even catapults to hurl the stones and petrol bombs were discovered.

Moreover, it has emerged that slain IB officer Ankit Sharma was dragged into Tahir Hussain’s house before his murder, and his body was found from a ditch behind Hussain’s house. In fact, the locals also revealed to OpIndia how IB officer Ankit Sharma was dragged into Tahir Hussain’s building by Islamists.

The locals also confirmed that sacks full of stones and bricks were being constantly supplied to the goons hiding in Tahir Hussain’s building. It was being transported through rickshaws and bikes to Tahir Hussain’s house and Muslim youths kept moving in and out of the building to collect the supplies.

This is not the only incident which has been reported. Islamist mobs have gone on a rampage in Delhi where the anti-Hindu riots have claimed several lives and given rise to horror stories in the process. After a Hindu told OpIndia how the Delhi anti-Hindu riots are creating a situation where a devout man has to hide every symbol that gave away his religion, another Hindu from Delhi’s Chand Bagh divulged how he saved himself from the frenzied Islamist mob by hiding his true identity. He says that he wore a “topi” and called himself “Imran” to keep safe from the Islamists who attacked him while he was returning from his work.

Delhi police file FIR against AAP corporator Tahir Hussain under IPC Section 302 for murder of IB officer Ankit Sharma

The Delhi police have filed FIR against Aam Aadmi party corporator Tahir Hussain under Section 302(a) Murder, in the Dayalpur police station of Delhi. The FIR was filed on the complaints of the family of deceased IB Officer Ankit Sharma, whose body was extracted from a drain behind Hussain’s house. The crime branch of the Delhi police will probe and take action in the murder case.

Ankit’s family alleged that Ankit was dragged into the house of Tahir Hussain and lynched to death by Islamist mobs. Reports state that Tahir Hussain’s house was being used by violent Islamist mob to pelt stones and hurl petrol bombs in the locality. Along with Ankit Hussain, three other persons were also dragged into his house, as alleged by locals.

In the riots that erupted in North East Delhi earlier this week, AAP leader Tahir Hussain has emerged as one of the main kingpins. Videos have emerged which show hundreds of people throwing stones, petrol bombs from the roof of his building. Other videos show Tahir Hussain himself supervising the stone and petrol bomb pelting from his building, with a lathi in his hand. When today media teams visited the building, it was found littered with stones, acid packs, petrol bombs made using cold drink bottles, catapults used to hurl stones and petrol bombs etc.

In another setback to AAP member, the Delhi Police sealed a factory belonging to Tahir Hussain. The factory is located in North-East Delhi’s Khajoori Khas area.

Delhi anti-Hindu riots ground report: Hindu shops were exclusively targeted, more than 3000 Islamists were in Tahir Hussain’s building

0

As Delhi remains on edge after three nights of continuous rioting, more and more proofs have emerged, making it sufficiently clear that these riots are nothing but a selective, well-coordinated and planned outrage against the Hindus by Islamist fundamentalists.

In order to learn more about the riots, OpIndia visited Delhi’s Chand Bagh area, which, like many other areas in the National Capital, has been burning as Islamists ran amok, resorting to stone-pelting, arson and vandalism, destroying public properties worth crores and hurting several police personnel and civilians in the ensuing mayhem.

While taking stock of the situation, OpIndia came across a furniture shop named ‘Arora Furniture’. This shop was left completely looted and burned in the fire. When OpIndia spoke to the local people in the area, it was learnt that the shop belonged to a Hindu. The shop owner said that the rampage was carried out by some Islamists. They set fire to all the floors of the ‘Arora Furniture’ building and also burnt some items kept there. Rest they looted and took away, said the owner.

A few locals said that there was also a Muslim shop in the same street, which was not damaged at all. According to them, the Muslim rioters read the signboards of the shops with the name of the shops before deciding which shop to burn and which to spare. While Hindu shops were ruined, ransacked and burned, the Muslim shops were left untouched, recounted the locals. Besides setting innumerable cars belonging to Hindus on fire, the Islamists also looted a shop named ‘Goyal Medical Store’, divulged the locals there.

This meant that these Muslim rioters had, in advance, gathered detailed information about the Hindu’s residing in Chand Bagh.

When asked about AAP councillor Tahir Hussain, the locals divulged that Hussain’s building which is built on a 1200-yard plot was occupied by more than 3000 Muslim rioters. The building is quite large, and it can accomodate a large numbder of people. People said that many people were seen visiting and leaving the premises for past few days, which meant that this anti-Hindu riot in Delhi was pre-planned.

The locals divulged that when Ankit Sharma had learnt that Tahir’s goons had captured three people, he had approached those goons to request them to release the three. They said that Ankit’s mother kept wandering around looking for her son for a while. Later there was news of his death.

They further revealed how the IB officer was mercilessly hit with stones before being thrown into a drain after the brutal murder.

Locals revealed that there is a bridge in Chand Bagh which actually divides the area. On one side of the culvert, there are the Muslim dominated areas, while on the other side the Hindu’s dwell. This acts as a border, said the locals. Tahir Hussain’s house which is on the Muslim side of the area is built in such a way that the area around it is covered and all the people inside are safe.

The miffed Hindus in the area went to blame Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal for the riots. People said that Kejriwal never fails to make statements to remain in the headlines, but now that it is revealed that his councillor has been involved in fanning the anti-Hindu riots in Delhi, he has duct-taped his mouth.

Many people who had voted for the Aam Aadmi Party in the recent elections chided Kejriwal with derogatory slangs and wondered why he was not coming up with any statement condemning the selective violence against Hindus in Delhi.

Petrol bombs, stones found on rooftop of Tahir Hussain, Javed Akhtar says police looking for him because he is a Muslim

The role of Aam Aadmi Party leader Tahir Hussain in the brutal murder of Intelligence Bureau (IB) employee Ankit Sharma and also inciting riots in the Delhi has now been under scanner. Day after Sharma’s family alleged his role in the riots and his murder, many crates of petrol bombs and stones have been found on the rooftop of the AAP leader. Petrol bombs, stones and bricks were stored on Hussain’s terrace raising questions about his role in the riots.

However, ’eminent intellectual’ Javed Akhtar believes that the religious identity of Tahir Hussain may be a factor in the police crackdown against him. According to him, the reason why Tahir Hussain’s house has been sealed and the police are on the lookout for him is that he is Muslim.

Tweet by Javed Akhtar about Tahir Hussain

Javed Akhtar said on Twitter on Thursday, “So many killed , so many injured , so many house burned , so many shops looted so many people turned destitutes but police has sealed only one house and looking for his owner . Incidentally his name is Tahir . Hats off to the consistency of the Delhi police .” (punctuation as it was in the tweet)

The implication of the tweet appears to be that Tahir Hussain is being persecuted due to his religion and that the serious accusations levelled against him are of minor consequence. The insinuation in the tweet appears to be that Tahir Hussain should be held to a different standard than other citizens of the country by virtue of his religion. It is the crassest form of minority entitlement that is at display in Javed Akhtar’s words.

Earlier, rabid Islamists had defended Tahir Hussain and claimed that the petrol bombs and stones discovered on Tahir Hussain’s rooftop were for self-defence. If a person of any other religion found himself in similar circumstances, it can be said for certain that the Islamists would not have found that line of argument credible at all. And yet, we are expected to believe that this incredible claim is entirely valid.

With things crawling towards normalcy, it appears that certain individuals of Javed Akhtar’s ideological bent want communal disharmony to persist. When attempts are being made to heal the communal divide, Javed Akhtar is making bizarre arguments to paint the action against Tahir Hussain in communal light.

MEA slams inaccurate, misleading and irresponsible remarks on Delhi riots by foreign organisations and individuals

0

Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday hit out at United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), sections of media and a few individuals for making irresponsible comments on the riots taking place in Delhi that claimed 33 lives and injured more than 200 so far.

In a series of tweets, Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar slammed foreign organisations, sections of media and certain individuals making factually incorrect remarks on Delhi riots politicizing the issue.

He further clarified that Indias’ law enforcement agencies are working on the ground to prevent violence and ensure restoration of confidence and normalcy.

The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, the US federal government commission, had tweeted condemning the Delhi riots through a perspective of an Anti-Muslim Pogrom, urging the Modi government to protect the rights of religious minorities.

The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar stated the comments made by USCIRF are factually inaccurate, and misleading and appearing to be aimed at politicizing the issue. He added that the Prime minister had publically appealed for peace and brotherhood, urging the foreign organizations to refrain from making such comments during a sensitive time.

The MEA Spokesperson also slammed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation for making inaccurate, selective and misleading comments in the matter of Delhi violence.

OIC had condemned the Delhi riots selectively saying that the riots had caused arson and vandalism of mosques and Muslim-owned properties.

Kumar said, “The OIC statement is factually inaccurate, selective and misleading. There is an effort on the ground to restore normalcy and create confidence. We urge these bodies not to issue an irresponsible statement in this sensitive time.”

Delhi anti-Hindu riots: ‘Maine topi pehni aur apna naam Imran bataya’, a Hindu narrates how he saved himself from Islamist mob

He says that the mob at first pulled him and began to assault him, but moments later when he told them that his name was Imran they let him off.

“Arre mein toh Imran hoon yaar, mein tumhara bhai hoon, mere ko kyun cheech rahe ho” (My name is Imran, my friends, I’m your brother, why are you’ll pulling me), the Hindu resident of Chand Bagh told the Islamists to save himself from their horror. On hearing this the mob let him off and he quickly ran back to his house, the Hindu resident recounts the horror while speaking to OpInida.

At this point, though it is unclear as to in what context, he is heard mentioning AAP councillor Tahir Hussain’s building.

It becomes imperative to note here that Tahir Hussain is the AAP leader from whose terrace, not just petrol bombs, but sacks full of brick pieces, stones, acid packs and even catapults to hurl the stones were discovered. In fact, IB officer Ankit Sharma murder was done by Islamists that emerged from Tahir Hussain’s house.

On being asked as to from where they are getting their food supplies and staples, the women resident say that they have locked themselves up in their houses for the last four days. They are all staying hungry as the stock of staples in their houses has depleted. They are asking their neighbours for basics like sugar, tea and milk and somehow sustain but are not leaving their locality in fear of being identified by the Islamists who have been targetting the Hindus in this anti-Hindu riots in Delhi.

Md Shahrukh who had fired shots during Delhi riots never arrested, police still in the lookout as he had fled immediately: Reports

0

Amidst the riots that erupted in northeast Delhi following over the last few days, one Islamist shooter Shahrukh was spotted brandishing his gun at the Police and pro-CAA crowd and firing shots. In what has emerged as one of the most iconic imagery from the violence, the Policeman had refused to budge even as Shahrukh pointed his gun straight at him. Shahrukh was later reported to be arrested, as reported by news agency ANI.

Now, ABP News, in a startling revelation, has said that Shahrukh was never arrested. He had escaped immediately after firing those eight rounds at the police in Delhi’s Maujpur area. The police have been in the lookout for Shahrukh from then, the report says.

According to the Hindi News portal, though the police have confirmed that the shooter was, indeed, Shahrukh, it said that he has not been arrested until now. The Crime Branch and Special Cell of Delhi Police are conducting raids to search for Shahrukh. They are using Shahrukh’s photograph to conduct the search operations, reported ABP News.

A police official speaking to the news channel said that the Delhi police are relentlessly searching for the Islamist shooter since only he could ascertain from where he procured the pistol and cartridges he used to open fire during the riots.

Several Muslim anti-CAA rioters went on a rampage after a clash broke out between Pro-CAA and Anti-CAA groups in Maujpur near Jeffrabad, thereby leading to open firing in an attempt to intimidate the cops countering the mob, heavy stone-pelting and vandalism of public property.

A report by The Quint also said that Shahrukh has not been arrested, quoting a Delhi Police official. According to the report, the official informed the same to the portal on condition of anonymity.

A Sunday incident ground report: Slogans of Azadi and anti-CAA goons stopped while approaching a temple in Malviya Nagar

Delhi was witness to massive anti-Hindu riots on Monday and Tuesday. But the first spell of violence in this particular sequence of events began a day earlier on Sunday. A clash also broke out between Pro-CAA and Anti-CAA groups in Maujpur near Jafrabad, leading to heavy stone-pelting and vandalism of public property. The previous day, that is Saturday, a group of over 500 Muslim women gathered near the Jafrabad Metro Station and blocked road No. 66, which connects Seelampur to Maujpur and Yamuna Vihar.

On Sunday, BJP leader Kapil Mishra demanded the removal of Anti-CAA protestors and clearance of the road within 3 days. He emphasized that they would not listen to anyone if the Anti-CAA rioters do not shift and clear the roads within the given time. While this incident was widely reported, another incident occurred around Malviya Nagar which has been largely ignored. Advocate Monika Arora tweeted about it which gained some traction.

In order to learn more about the events at that particular place, OpIndia got in touch with the residents of the area. The locals alleged that the anti-CAA groups started attacking them after a section of them tried approaching a temple and were stopped. A crowd of two thousand people entered the colony through Shivalik Colony and occupied the huge road stretching from one end to the F block of Malviya Nagar. The locals pointed out that there was no permission given to them.

While the police reacted swiftly and had enough personnel on the ground, the situation got volatile in Hauz Rani, which is next to Malviya Nagar and is a Muslim dominated area. The police had to resort to lathi-charge as there was an attempt to target local establishments. One local informed us that a teenage girl tried to shut a shop and was pushed away by other locals and reprimanded. The local, who remains in anonymity, mentioned that they had decided to sit in front of the Shiv temple, which is near the Gol Chakkar in Malviya Nagar.

We spoke to one of the members of the temple administration, who informed he was there during the incident, “We had just opened the temple and were cleaning it when a huge group of protesters came and sat down in front of the temple. Though they did not touch the temple as such, that is the same spot they chose to sit and block the road”.

When we further questioned them about the nature of slogans used, locals informed us, it was related to ‘Azadi’ and all of them were from the Muslim community. When asked whether there were more women or men, we were told that women and children were more than men in the crowd. They also confirmed that no Hindus were visible in the crowd.

Most locals were unable to answer why the protesting crowd chose to sit in front of the temple. While some felt it was because the temple was near the Gol Chakkar or the roundabout, others felt that it was to send a message. Locals, however, said that all these people had come from outside and were not local Muslims in the vicinity. “There were many unrecognizable faces in the crowd,” said the temple employee.

While no violence broke out in this area fortuntely, the strange part is that the protesters did not find any other place to sit. There was a Gurudwara in the vicinity but they chose to sit outside the shiv temple. Moreover, if there was no local support, how did they manage to maneuver their way inside the colony? And why did they go in Hauz Rani, and let the situation go volatile? These questions perhaps hint at a larger design at hand.

Later, violence erupted in North East Delhi. The massive anarchy that was unleashed has resulted in great loss of life and property. A constable at the Intelligence Bureau and the head constable of Delhi Police have lost their lives. The death toll currently stands at 27.

Bangladeshi student who shared Anti-CAA posters asked to leave country

0

Afsara Meem, a first-year student of Visva-Bharati University was allegedly asked to leave India for indulging in activities against the Indian government.

Afsara, the undergraduate student was allegedly told by the authorities to leave India for uploading pictures of the Anti-CAA protests on her Facebook handle, as per a report in Telegraph. The 20-year-old student who had come to India in 2018 from Bangladesh’s Kustia is pursuing a Bachelor of Design degree at the department of fine arts.

The Foreigners’ Regional Registration Office of Kolkata had reportedly issued a ‘leave-India’ letter to the Bangladeshi woman on 14 February.

Legal activists group Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) has claimed that they had highlighted the case of a foreign national interfering in India’s internal matters.

However, Afsara has claimed that she did not participate in the protests but merely uploaded pictures related Anti-CAA protests on the Social media ‘out of curiosity’, she added that she was heavily trolled by ‘fanatics’ as per reports.

The Bangladeshi claimed, “I am still unable to understand what wrong I have committed to face such a punishment. I posted a few photographs out of curiosity as many of my friends had participated in the protest rally. But when I found that a particular group of people was trolling me on social media, I immediately deactivated my Facebook account. I am really innocent. When I received the letter from the department today, a dark sense of grave loss gripped me. I came to India to study at Visva-Bharati as I dream to be an artist. I don’t know what will happen to me now.”

However, the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission has stated that they are not aware of the notice to the student.

Impleadment Application demands FIR against Harsh Mander, Swara Bhaskar, RJ Sayema and Amanatullah Khan, OpIndia report cited: Details

An impleadment application has been filed by advocate Sanjiv Kumar in the plea filed by George Soros-linked activist Harsh Mander seeking the arrest of BJP leaders for their alleged hate speech. The impleadment application seeks the registration of FIR against Mander, actor Swara Bhaskar, RJ Sayema and Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan in connection with the violence that erupted in Delhi.

The application states, “Harsh Mander and his ilk, along with Some Political Parties Leaders, Pseudo Liberals Tukde Tukde Gang hatched a sinister plan to create unrest during President Trump’s trip to India on 24th and 25th February 2020. They were knowing that Security apparatus will be stretched and thus here come the sinister plan.”

“It seems that just like the famous Leningrad Siege, the plan was the total siege of Delhi by creating numerous sit-ins like Shaheen Bag and on the given day and time (in between 24th February and 25th February 2020), blocking of roads and airport, thus taking control of vital roads and airports, trapping the President of USA in Delhi, creating an impossible situation, forcing Army to take control (US Army would too have jumped in) and in that situation, there will be world media attention on India. The plan of this Urban Naxal group was to defame India, to paint India as a failed state,” it states further.

Advocate Sanjiv Kumar also said in his application, “Are we under British Rule? Is Mr Mander Mahatma Gandhi? Present Govt is democratically elected by WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA and Mr Harsh Mander wants to overthrow the Constitutionally Elected Govt. That, now CAA Act is passed, WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA would like to know if Mr Harsh Mander has become Muslim. Nevertheless, Mr Harsh Mander tweet was seditious and was clearly to incite Muslims and Non Muslims to wage Civil Disobedience and wage war against Indian Union and there is nothing Civil about Civil Disobedience (Its Gory, Bloody, Revolutionary and Uprising against Union of India)…”

The application also carried a screenshot of an OpIndia report to state that RJ Sayema had incited a mob to gather outside police headquarters during anti-CAA protests. Advocate Sanjiv Kumar has sought FIR to be filed against Mander under Section 124A, Section 295A, Section 153, Section 153A, Section 504, Section 505 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code. He has sought FIR under Section 295A, Section 153, Section 153A, Section 504, Section 505 and Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code against the others.

Another impleadment application has been filed in Harsh Mander’s petition against AIMIM leaders for their hate speech. Hindu Sena president Vishnu Gupta filed this petition, seeking FIR against Akbaruddin Owaisi, Asaduddin Owaisi and Waris Pathan for their hate speeches. The application stated that the sole petition of Harsh Mander’s petition was “to defame the Hindus as Hindus are cause of riot in Delhi”. The petition attached the speeches and statements of the Muslim party leaders, “which added and abated communal tension of violence and protest against CAA in Delhi”, the petition said submitted.
