A Hindu youth was brutally attacked after he posted “Jai Shri Ram” on social media. The incident took place in the Arera Hills police station area in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where Vishal Suryavanshi was assaulted with sticks and a knife, leaving him seriously injured. Police have arrested three people in connection with the attack.
According to Vishal, the trouble started after he posted a “Jai Shri Ram” status on his social media account. He said Danish Khan objected to the post and argued with him over it. Soon after, Danish came to Vishal along with his friends, and the argument turned violent within minutes.
Vishal said that during the attack, Danish Khan and his friends beat him with sticks. He was also stabbed in his right leg, which caused serious injuries. After attacking him, all the accused fled from the spot.
Vishal further told the police that these same miscreants had damaged his vehicle around seven months ago, but the matter had not escalated to this level at that time.
Police sources said Danish Khan is known in the area and is already under police watch, with several criminal cases registered against him. At the time of the attack, around half a dozen youths were present with him, including Salman, Aftab, and Choti.
After receiving information, the police reached the scene and registered a case based on Vishal’s complaint. Officials confirmed that Danish Khan, Salman, and Aftab have been arrested, while efforts are on to trace and arrest the remaining accused. Police said the case is under investigation and further action will follow based on the findings.
