Modi government launched three operations in less than three years and evacuated over 20,000 Indians from war-hit countries, with Operation Kaveri being the latest.
Reiterating that the Taliban considers such activities un-Islamic, he added, "The films they were selling did not have women in hijab, which is against Sharia. This is why the sale of such films is prohibited."
"Last week, 8 children lost their lives due to unexploded ordinance in Afghanistan. They lost their lives playing with unexploded ordnance and collecting metal scraps to sell," UNICEF Afghanistan added, reported TOLOnews.
Several journalists in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan have raised concerns about their deteriorating economic condition and lack of access to information.
"In some countries, girls going to school risk kidnapping and assault. In others, police prey on vulnerable women they have sworn to protect. Gender equality is growing more distant. On the current track, UN Women puts it 300 years away," the UN Chief said.
