Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasised yet again that Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is an integral part of India. Amit Shah also added that the residents of PoK are Indian citizens irrespective of their religion.
Speaking on illegal infiltrations, the HM said, "Assam's BJP govt has completely stopped illegal infiltration. But this goes on unabated in Bengal and unless the state government cooperates, it is difficult for the Center to gather data about the extent and quantity of illegal infiltration".
In an interview with ANI, Amit Shah said that CAA has been brought by the Modi government and "it is impossible to repeal it". He accused the opposition leaders of practicing "politics of appeasement".
"We have had our government at the centre for 10 years. But even our opponents cannot blame Modi ji for even 4 annas worth of corruption. We have governed with transparency," Amit Shah added.
