Delivering the order, Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad observed that the circular, when read in its entirety, did not contain any compulsory or coercive direction requiring students to take part in activities that go against their faith.
In an order dated 16th April, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha and Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal held that there was prima facie sufficient evidence in the chargesheet to warrant trial against Professor Dilip Jha.
