The Election Commission of India on Thursday released the data of Electoral Bonds bought by various entities from the State Bank of India and the recipients of such bonds.
The two positions of election commissioners fell vacant after the retirement of Anup Chandra Pandey on February 14 and Arun Goel's abrupt resignation last week
The details of the sale and purchase of electoral bonds shared by the SBI are in a raw form, India Today reported citing sources. The raw data reveals who bought bonds worth how much and in favour of which political party.
Even after 10 days, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is yet to notify the victory of most of the independent candidates who have won in the general elections.
"This prohibition extends to the use of children to create the semblance of a political campaign in any manner including use through poem, songs, spoken words, display of insignia of political party/candidate, exhibiting ideology of political party, promoting achievements of a political party or criticizing the opponent political parties/candidates," ECI added.
