Notorious for giving controversial speeches, Krishnamurthy triggered a controversy after his derogatory remarks for PM Modi, Annamalai, and other BJP leaders.

“Instead of killing an innocent goat, if DMK is so angry, come to me, I’m here only…” Annamalai said adding that the goat could have been spared.

Responding to DMK's constant mocking of him as 'goat', Annamalai had acknowledged that his family rears goats and his parents have raised him by selling goats. So he feels no shame in being compared to goats.

In Coimbatore, BJP state president K Annamalai is trailing against DMK's Ganapathy Rajkumar by 22881 votes.

Annamalai posted on X that the 45-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by DMK goons for voting for the BJP.
