It was reported on Thursday that two people had died and three were injured as a consequence of the clashes which were said to be between Trinamool and BJP supporters.
The case concerns with the death of one Prabhudas Vaishnani who had died due to the injuries inflicted upon him under police custody. Six other policemen along with Bhatt were also the accused in the case.

The scuffle broke out when the pillion rider on a bike slapped a pump staffer when he was asked to get back in the queue and wait for his turn. The riders allegedly kicked the staffers and called for help to attack the petrol pump.
