Ahead of the occasion of International Women's Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a unique initiative aimed at empowering women across India.

PM Modi further lauded the polyglot singer CassMae and noted that she has aced singing in many Indian languages, including Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, and Urdu. CassMae has mastered her notes in all of them. 

On Sunday, 27th August 2023, PM Modi addressed the nation in the 104th episode of his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat'.

The Prime Minister stressed the significance of water conservation and tree plantation in the monsoon season. He talked about how over 60,000 Amrit Sarovars built during Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav are “radiating their glow.”
