On Sunday, 27th August 2023, PM Modi addressed the nation in the 104th episode of his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat'.

The Prime Minister stressed the significance of water conservation and tree plantation in the monsoon season. He talked about how over 60,000 Amrit Sarovars built during Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav are “radiating their glow.” 

In his book Collective Spirit, Concrete Action: Mann Ki Baat and Its Influence on India, former Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati chronicles how PM Modi used his Mann Ki Baat programme to connect with the citizens.

PM Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio broadcast said that emergency was a dark era in the country's history.

The case was registered after Ahmedabad police took cognisance of a fact-check done by PIB, which asserted that the tweet by AAP Gujarat chief Isudan Gadhvi was misleading.

On April 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the 100th time on Mann Ki Baat.

Mann KI Baat, PM Modi's monthly radio address to nation, started on October 3, 2014, months after Narendra Modi took over the Prime Minister's Office in May that year.

Studies have shown that over 100 crore people have connected to Mann Ki Baat at least once, it speaks directly to people, celebrates grassroots-level changemakers and achievements of people and has influenced people towards positive actions. 

'Collective Spirit, Concrete Action' by Shashi Shekhar, former CEO Prasar Bharati, was launched on Wednesday at the Mann Ki Baat @ 100 National Conclave.
