The head priest of Madurai Adheenam, Sri Harihara Desika Swamigal who will be presenting the 'Sengol' to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the new parliament building, has said Narendra Modi should return as the PM again in 2024.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his Australian visit in Sydney by meeting executives of top multinational companies in the country. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-day visit to Australia on Tuesday met the Executive Chairman of Fortescue Future Industries, an Australia-based Green energy and technology firm. 

"This honor is not just mine but that of 140 crore Indians, of centuries-old India-Fiji relations," Prime Minister Modi remarked while receiving Fiji's highest honour.

PM Modi is on his tour to three countries Japan, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.

Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi is well-versed in English, he has voluntarily chosen to speak in Hindi with other world leaders since 2014.

During his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, PM Modi gave assurance that India would everything possible to stop the war.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the second 'Chintan Shivir' of senior officers of the Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi on Friday to evolve an action plan for implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Vision 2047".
