Ms Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tried to ride on sympathy wave following the death of former PM Manmohan Singh despite the Centre allocating space for his memorial.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra claimed that two Congress workers were allegedly killed by the police during party's protests in separate incidents in Uttar Pradesh and Assam. However, police has denied all the charges.

The BJP has criticized the selective response of the Congress leaders to these incidents. Kerala BJP President K. Surendran questioned the silence of several leaders over the attack in Wayanad.
