Doctors have been holding protests in different states demanding justice for the victim whose body was found in the seminar hall of the state-run Medical College and Hospital earlier in the month.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday reached the Police Morgue of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata for further investigation of the woman doctor rape and murder case.

He is currently held in solitary confinement under tight security with CCTV surveillance. Roy has asserted that he was framed in the case.
