The West Bengal government has filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) against the Calcutta High Court's judgment that directed the CBI to investigate the allegations of land-grabbing and sexual assault in Sandeshkhali.
Citing sources, Republic Bangla also informed that the weapons, which also included imported ones, were recovered from the house of a man named Abu Taleb.
"He (Pradip Sarkar) enters our homes, clicks pictures and warns us about releasing the images on the internet. If we object, then, he threatens to murder our husbands," a woman recounted.
