District authorities in Agra have launched a probe after a video of the incident that took place on April 26 went viral on social media

The accused were shot at by Police Inspector (Ramamurthy Nagar) Melvin Francis when the duo attacked ACP (Banaswadi) NS Sakri and other police personnel in the team.

The accused were identified as Mohammed Baba Sheikh, Ridoy Babo, Sagar and Hakeel. A woman accomplice was arrested too whose name has not been disclosed.

After the outrage, the Youtuber deleted the video and issued an apology saying that he loves his pet dog and had taken all safety measures.

Police officials and government sources have confirmed that the viral video is an unrelated incident. The victim in the video is not the late Lovi Sumi, a woman from Nagaland working in Jodhpur, who had recently committed suicide.
