Biopic on PM Modi, Vivek Anand Oberoi stuns all with his striking transformation

The first look posters were released in 27 languages across India.

The first look of the biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been released. The movie stars Vivek Oberoi and has been directed by Omung Kumar. The first look posters were released in 27 languages across India.

Only a few days earlier, it was confirmed that Vivek Oberoi will feature as Narendra Modi in the movie. Shooting for the film is expected to begin in mid-January.

The Director, Omung Kumar, has biographical dramas such as Mary Kom and Sarabjit in the past. Both the movies were received very well by the public and were appreciated by critics as well.

2019 is proving to be a year for biopics. The movie on Manmohan Singh’s tenure as Prime Minister featuring Anupam Kher in the lead, The Accidental Prime Minister, is set to release on the 11th of January. Manikarnika, the movie based on the life and times of the Rani of Jhansi, is set to release on the 25th of January. Thackeray, based on the life of the late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb, will hit the box office on the 23rd of January.

Vivek Anand Oberoi received accolades for his striking resemblance to PM Modi in the poster.

All these movies are expected to score big at the Box Office. And one tends to think the biopic on Narendra Modi when it is released eventually will perform as well as these movies if not even better.
