Where is Pulwama terrorist body? Goa Congress leader asks for proof, says Modi planned Pulwama terror attack

Kumar is not the first person to float a conspiracy theory that the Pulwama terror attack, the responsibility of which was claimed by Pakistan based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad, was an inside job.

Just when you think political discourse in India couldn’t stoop any lower, someone throws up a surprise. While addressing a press conference, Goa Congress leader Chellakumar alleged that the Pulwama attack was orchestrated by PM Modi.

“People are not fools anymore. This man will go to any extent. Because, Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and Amit Shah together… even recently video clipping has come out, even the Godhra incident was planned by BJP and stuff like that. Their own man has said that, not some Congress leader. I will not take the name but someone from BJP circle has claimed that Godhra incident was manipulated and orchestrated by the BJP. If it is so, why not this Pulwama incident also? They have identified all the jawan’s body. Where is the terrorist’s body? Till now they could not show to the people. So he is not a public representative. Not a public leader,” said Chellakumar.

Kumar is not the first person to float a conspiracy theory that the Pulwama terror attack, the responsibility of which was claimed by Pakistan based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad, was an inside job. Congress supporting abusive troll Sanjukta, while propagating this theory was also encouraged by another Congress leader. She, too, had brought in the 2002 Godhra carnage reference and had claimed that ‘Modi was reportedly’ heard saying “Let Hindus take revenge.”.

Earlier, we had written how this could be one of the ways Congress might be testing the ground before Congress President Rahul Gandhi could swoop in and make similar claims. Goa Congress leader echoing the same thing as Basu said a week back goes out to show that now Congress leaders of the higher rung have started propagating the narrative. How soon Rahul Gandhi, too, joins in is, is probably a matter of time.
