A girl from the Kotwali area was to get married on 14th July, however, she disappeared from her home on 3rd July. Her brother filed a missing person complaint in the Jalaun police station. Her father, unfortunately, died on the night of the 13th of July. Afterwards, the leaders of Hindu organisations gathered at Dwarkadhish temple on 15th July and took out a silent procession. Akram is the primary accused in the case.

They promised that concrete steps would be taken soon and those who indulged in religious conversion would face strict measures including bulldozer action. Circle Officer Ram Singh revealed that a case was registered on 3rd July in which Akram was declared wanted. Four teams have been formed to arrest him. The SP has announced a reward of Rs 15,000 on him and four teams have been formed to bring back the girl.
