Tharoor slammed for farrago of pseudo secularism and vote bank politics

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor yesterday tweeted an image of a dance performed by school children in Parassala in Thiruvananthapuram, the constituency he represents in the lower house of the Parliament. While sharing the same, in his attempt to come across as secular, he identified the little girl playing the role of Bharat Mata by her religion.

He immediately got called out for his communal mindset masquerading as secularism.

Shockingly, in his rush to find out the religion of the girl, he forgot to notice that the girl dressed as ‘Bharat Mata’ is not even holding the Indian flag correctly.

He got called out on that as well.

Perhaps this is a good time for Tharoor to put an end to his virtue signalling.
