AAP, which was embarrassed by Lalu hugging Kejriwal, wants Rahul to hug their supremo

0

The Aam Aadmi Party is upset. They are upset that the man-child Congress President Rahul Gandhi could hug the Prime Minister but not reach out to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal to ask him to support their candidate for the post of Rajya Sabha deputy chairman’s elections which were held earlier today. It is amusing to see the party which was embarrassed for embracing the fodder scam convict Lalu Prasad Yadav would throw a virtual hug challenge to a party which has repeatedly snubbed them in their attempt to forge an alliance.

Taking on Congress’ prime ministerial candidate, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that if Nitish Kumar could call Naveen Patnaik and Arvind Kejriwal and request to support their candidate, then why can’t Rahul Gandhi, who has no qualms in hugging the Prime Minister, call up AAP supremo and request him to support his candidate?

He further said that if he (Rahul Gandhi) could not ask for AAP’s support to win an election, how will he lead his party to victory? He accused Gandhi of not keeping an open heart and taking other parties for granted that when Congress will issue the summons, other parties will bow down and follow orders. He said how AAP appreciated Rahul Gandhi spreading the message of love by hugging the PM, but you (Rahul Gandhi) have a problem with reaching out to Arvind Kejriwal?

Singh further said that AAP had voted for Congress candidate for the President and Vice President elections without them asking for it, but Congress party didn’t even thank them in return. In fact, he added, that AAP had supported Congress candidates during the political crisis in Goa, Uttarakhand and Mizoram, but all AAP got in return was opposition from Congress. He further accused Congress of distributing sweets when 20 AAP MLAs were disqualified. He said when the party leaders held a dharna at LG office, all opposition parties supported AAP except Congress.

In the elections for deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha elections which concluded earlier today, NDA’s Harivansh Narayan Singh was elected even as AAP abstained from voting.

Hence, even as Congress is trying to reach out to regional parties to have a united opposition against the NDA in the upcoming polls in 2019, Congress seems to have pushed away a very vocal anti-Modi ally. All because Rahul Gandhi didn’t hug Arvind Kejriwal, at least virtually. On one hand, they don’t want Lalu to hug them, on the other, they are dying to be in the arms of Rahul Gandhi. Seems like it is time for Rahul Gandhi to take some hugplomatic steps towards the estranged AAP supremo.

Muslim mob running illegal cow slaughterhouse attacks journalist, Editors Guild remains silent

0

A Journalist from India Today group has been attacked by a Muslim mob in the Ramnagar district of Karnataka. The incident took place during a search operation conducted by the animal activists and the police officials in Kodipalya village of the district.

India Today has reported that a reporter from the media group had accompanied few activists to the raid on an illegal slaughterhouse. Reportedly, the police initially refused to provide any protection to the animal activists to enter the slaughterhouse and the police officer cited lack of force to contain the law and order situation after the raid. But later he provided two men to carry out a raid on the next day on the illegal slaughterhouses run by few by Muslim men.

The activists raided the slaughterhouse next day to find out a large number of bones, skulls, calf intestines on the ground along with the blood. Reportedly, more than 200 newborn calves are being slaughtered at that place every day. Animal rights activist Joshine Anthony was also on the site when the raid was conducted.

The place is believed to be an illegal slaughterhouse, but no calves were found at the spot. The villagers nearby had seen some animals roaming inside the campus of the slaughterhouse. After an intense operation, the activists were able to find the calves within the premises of slaughterhouses which were hidden in dense bushes. The activists found that the newborn calves were tied to their feet so they could not run or make any sound. The activists have rescued more than 70 newborn calves from the slaughterhouse.

Soon, the situation near the slaughterhouse become life-threatening for the activists, as an angry Muslim mob started gathering outside the slaughterhouse despite the presence of the officials. They started attacking the journalist and started pelting stones at the activists and the journalist.

The Muslim mob also broke his phone and threatened the journalists, as the police were just mute spectators. It is alleged that there is some nexus between the meat mafia and the police, as the information about the raid got leaked as soon as the activists had informed the police.

The goons are identified as Gazipeer, Khasi, Syed, Mubarakhan, Noor, Imthiaz and Tabrez, all hailing from Ramnagar district. The police have lodged FIR against all the seven accused under IPC sections 428 and 429 (mischief by killing or maiming animal). The police are yet to register FIR for attacking the journalist.

It is strange to see that none of the fellow journalists has condemned the attack on the journalist. The Editors Guild of India has also remained silent. It also came under severe criticism lately for ignoring many such attacks on journalists carried out by specific minority groups.

The critical aspect when it comes to the issue of the protection of cows in the country is the sheer amount of crimes committed by groups who are into cow smuggling and illegal slaughtering. The intensity of the illegal cow smuggling and slaughtering in the country is on the rise. Some state governments like Uttar Pradesh has taken steps to ensure that there is no illegal cow slaughtering by banning them. It is unfortunate that the mainstream media has deliberately ignored to present these facts relating to crimes committed in the name of the cow.

NDA’s Harivansh Narayan Singh elected as Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman

0

NDA candidate and JD(U) MP Harivansh Narayan Singh has been elected as the new deputy chairman of the Rajya Sabha. According to reports, Singh got 125 votes in his support to pass the halfway mark of 119 votes required for a win.

The opposition’s candidate and 3 times Congress MP BK Hariprasad reportedly got 105 votes. The elections witnessed speculations of numbers in favour of NDA and the opposition. It is being opined that the decision of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to vote in favour of NDA candidate has been crucial in the victory. JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar had called the Odisha CM on Tuesday and asked for his support.

The BJD has stated that his party’s 9 MPs would support the NDA candidate as the opposition’s candidate BK Hariprasad has been Odisha in-charge of Congress and he had been vitriolic in his attack against the BJD government in the state.

The post of Deputy Chairman was vacant since July 1 after former Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien retired. While the NDA has got the support of its alliance partners, Congress has not been able to gather the required number of votes. As per reports, some DMK MPs abstained from voting while the Aam Aadmi Party had declared that it will boycott the elections as Congress President Rahul Gandhi did not saw it fit to call them.

The Nazi-like Anti-Brahmin propaganda in some sections of Tamil literature

There is a certain trend of anti-Brahmin bigotry that has been mainstreamed across certain regions in India. The very intellectuals who would foam at the mouth over mythical Islamophobia are often more than willing to ignore the Nazi-like propaganda against Brahmins and occasionally, even indulge in it themselves.

Today, we shall take a glance at some of the literature that is passed off as profound wisdom in sections of Tamil Nadu and the depths of depravity to which Dravidian politics has sunk a once proud and prosperous land with a grand and glorious history.

Brahmins were also described as having serpent heads in the cover of one book.

Even the great Rajaraja Chola was not spared by some Dravidianists.

In the cover illustrations of a couple of books, the sacred thread of the Brahmanas is depicted as strangling the life out of a non-Brahmin. One of them is by Kancha Ilaiah, a darling of Indian liberals.

One of them portrays a Brahmin as performing some sort of sorcery with his hands.

The seriousness of the matter can be gauged from the fact that one such book, ‘Aryan Mayai’, was written by former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, C.N. Annadurai.

In all these books, the Brahmins have been described as evil and malicious who indulge in intricate conspiracies to oppress non-Brahmins and suck the life out of them. Parts of Tamil Nadu has a terrible record when it comes to caste-related violence. Even earlier this year, Brahmin men were attacked in Chennai and their sacred threads were cut off allegedly by Periyarists.

The extent to which anti-Brahmin bigotry is normalized in Indian intellectual circles can be gauged from the fact that an activist associated with Amnesty International called for targeted violence against Brahmins and escaped without any consequence. Another journalist wished that Brahmins are settled in Kashmir without any protection from the state knowing fully well what it implied. In our intellectual circles, it is quite acceptable, perhaps even fashionable, to blame all the ills of the world on the Brahmins and fan communal and caste hatred.

Kangana Ranaut talks about illiberal liberals and how her team wanted Rani Lakshmibai to save a ‘sheep’ and not ‘cow’

0

Nationalism is the most infamous word today, says Kangana Ranaut in her conversation with the spiritual leader, Sadhguru. During the conversation, Kangana talks about ideologies and politics with Sadhguru and narrates an incident from her upcoming film Manikarnika, a biographical film based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.

Amidst talk of spirituality, Kangana and Sadhguru even discuss the issues India is currently facing. Speaking of today’s society and the need to be organised, she says that in reality what we face is completely different. Narrating an experience she had while shooting, Kangana says that the protagonist, Rani Lakshmibai is saving a calf. She says that the crew had a huge discussion and during the shoot, the crew was of the opinion that she (Rani Lakshmibai) cannot be shown saving a calf, it has to be a lamb “because we don’t want to look like cow-saver”, she said.

She called out the prejudice people have and said that because of this, one feels very protective of “who you are and what your values are and you want to save all the animals. Why just cows? But you definitely want to save the cow because the prejudice is really agonising”. She speaks on the mob lynchings which have taken place in recent times over cows and takes on the so-called liberals saying that when such an incident takes place, they immediately jump on the other side which is always criticising (gau rakshaks) and never wanting to protect cows. She says she insisted that since Rani Lakshmibai saved a cow, her character should also be depicted as saving a cow instead of having the discussion.

To a cheering crowd, Kangana, who admits of having learnt English recently, says she has to refer to a dictionary for a lot of words. So when she looked up the meaning of liberal, it said, liberal is someone who has acceptance for people, opinions, thoughts. She says the so-called liberals won’t take you in their group unless you hate the same people as they do. She further says that if hating on something is better for the country, she doesn’t mind. “If it is better for the country, you don’t mind hating on the BJP. You don’t mind believing that everything is run by Amit Shah. But what I don’t get is, what is their agenda and plan of action for bringing this country out of the pit.”

Kangana Ranaut has been on the receiving end of bouquets and brickbats for speaking her mind. She got hailed as a hero when she took on the powerful people in the film industry by her statements on nepotism and how some people, especially Karan Johar amongst others have perpetuated nepotism in an industry which should ideally run on talent. While the so-called liberals had hailed her as a hero, the film fraternity did not take it lightly and feathers were ruffled. Kangana was hailed as a feminist icon. However, recently when she spoke in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he is the most deserving candidate of democracy the same so-called liberals and pseudo-feminists turned against her with editorials being written on Kangana’s fall from grace. This just proves her point that Indian liberals are liberal and will hold you close in their group till the time you hate the same set of people they hate.

She speaks of the liberals and those in the film industry and says how people from her fraternity say why should they be bothered about wars since they are artists. She says this demotivates the army men who protect the border. She evokes the Kathua rape case and the chicanery surrounding it. She says,

“A rape takes place in Kashmir and they say ‘Hindustan raped our daughter’ and pointing fingers at each other when the country is so vulnerable and trying to break into a civil war. Is this what liberals do? A more sensible thing seems to be a sceptic. But a sceptic doesn’t know where he is going. So right now we need a definite direction to go into. We cannot be stuck in the unfortunate loop of to be or not to be.’

Speaking on the issue of illegal immigrants, Kangana poses a question which conflicts her conscience that while our own children are dying, how practical is it to absorb neighbouring country’s people and denying them the same seems even worse. To that, Sadhguru says that ‘we are trying to project our inefficiency as compassion’. He says that we have a porous border and unless we know how many are Indians and how many are not, it is difficult to run a nation. In a lighter vein, Sadhguru suggested that if people are talking about inclusiveness (of illegal migrants), Bangladesh could join India and we could treat it as a union territory and the people would be free to roam around.

These youths are going to tell everyone not to undertake kiki challenge, on orders of court

0

The Kiki challenge is an insane challenge, where people are stepping out of their moving cars and dancing to the tunes of Drake track, called ‘In My Feelings’ from his latest album ‘Scorpion’. Kiki appears in the lyrics of the song: “Kiki, do you love me?” But it is not Drake who inspired this challenge per se. It was internet comedian Shiggy who posted a video of him dancing on the streets on June 30, hence the alternative names #ShiggyChallenge or #DoTheShiggy.

The viral challenge has gripped India as well. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Virar has arrested three youths for doing the Kiki Challenge at Virar station’s platform number 1 and onboard a moving train. The arrested accused are as Nishant Rajendra Shah, 20, Dhruv Anil Shah, 23, and Shyam Rajkumar Sharma, 24, according to mid-day.

As per mid-day, G N Mall, Virar RPF inspector, said, “With the help of local intelligence, we tracked down the boys and arrested them under sections 145(B), 147 and 156 of the Railways Act.”

The accused were produced in court and the punishment met out to the accused is as interesting as the Kiki challenge itself. It is visiting Vasai and Virar stations for the next three days and spreading awareness among commuters to not do such stunts.

The youth are supposed to visit the stations from 11 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm every day to educate people not to undertake stunts such as Kiki challenge.

Recently. Mumbai Police posted a photograph that read “Kiki is bored of her own challenge. Stop it”.

Mumbai Police and the court seems to have the right idea!

Pakistan faces setback as Dawood Ibrahim’s henchman is set to be repatriated to India

0

As reported by ANI, a criminal court in Thailand has declared that Sayyed Muzakkir Muddassar Hussain, also known by aliases Mohammad Saleem and Munna Jhingra, a senior D-Company operative and a close associate of India’s most wanted underworld criminals, Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel, is not a Pakistani (as claimed by the Pakistan embassy in Thailand) but an Indian national.

Jhingra, son of Muddassar Hussain, who had deep links in the 1993 Mumbai blast, entered Thailand with a fake Pakistani passport and was imprisoned ever since September 2000, for plotting to kill Chota Rajan, who is considered to be the rival of Dawood Ibrahim.

The ISI has since then been pushing for a reduction in Jhingra’s term of imprisonment, through sustained efforts by the Pakistan Embassy, not just through the Thai Foreign Ministry but also through informal channels. As a result of which the Pakistan Embassy succeeded in obtaining two Royal pardons for Munna Jhingra and his jail sentence was reduced to 34 years. Subsequently, the Pakistani Embassy gained two more Royal pardons, thereby, reducing Munna Jhingra’s sentence to 18 years in 2016.

Alongside, the Pakistan authorities were also making continuous efforts for the extradition of Munna Jhingra to Pakistan under the Prisoner’s Exchange Treaty between Pakistan and Thailand, a move that India contested and filed a strong extradition claim. The matter subsequently, went to the Thai court.

Though Munna Jhingra was granted amnesty under the Thai law and was released in December 2016, Pakistan was unable to extradite him since the matter was sub-judice.

However, coming as a major diplomatic victory for India over Pakistan, the court ruled on Wednesday, that based on fingerprint evidence submitted by India, it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that Munna Jhingra is an Indian national. The court also reprimanded Pakistan for submitting concocted evidence through Pakistani embassy in Thailand.

With the proceedings witnessing a high voltage drama with Jhingra reacting violently and abusing the judge after the announcement of the verdict and Pakistani embassy official caterwauling, the court finally gave Islamabad 30 days to file an appeal, failing which India would have to repatriate the prisoner within 90 days.

Know about the two candidates who are contending for Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman post

0

The election for the post of Deputy Chairman in Rajya Sabha is scheduled to be held today around noon. NDA candidate Harivansh Narayan Singh and opposition’s candidate BK Hariprasad will face each other in the tight contest. While NDA had declared the first time JD(U) MP Harivansh Narayan Singh as its candidate on the day the election was announced, there was uncertainty for the opposition’s candidate. There were media reports that NCP MP Vandana Chavan will be the candidate.

However, Congress put all speculations to end when it declared its own three times MP BK Hariprasad as the candidate. The post of Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman has been lying vacant since July 1 after former Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien had retired.

Here is a brief profile of both the candidates.

Harivansh Narayan Singh

Rajya Sabha MP Harivansh Narayan Singh represents Bihar and is a first time JD(U) MP. an alumnus of the Banaras Hindu University, he assumed office in April 2014. He had been the former editor-in-chief of Hindi daily Prabhat Khabar and was the Public Relations Officer of former Prime Minister Chandrasekhar. Originally hailing from Uttar Pradesh’s Balia, Harivansh Singh has had a clean image and is known as a strict administrator. Having been associated with social reformer and activist Jayaprakash Narayan during his political movement, he also hails from the same native village as JP. Singh is known to have a good rapport with members of all parties.

Singh reportedly has the support of 126 MPs in the upper house. While the NDA does not hold a majority in the Rajya Sabha, JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar had reached out to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik for BJD’s support and that has been fruitful. Patnaik has today officially announced that they will be supporting the NDA candidate. With BJD’s 9 MPs, AIADMK’s 13 and TRS’ 6 MPs voting in his favour, it is expected that Harivansh Narayan Singh will have a comfortable majority.

BK Hariprasad

Courtesy: ANI

Born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Hariprasad is a Congress veteran and has been an MP 3 times. He has been the AICC general secretary for 18 years. Known as one of the favourites of Sonia Gandhi, Hariprasad has served as the party in-charge for the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Gujrat and Chhattisgarh. In his early life, he had been the general secretary of NSUI, Congress’ student wing.

Hariprasad has been holding power positions within the party for a long time. He had also been pivotal in the Congress Working Committee for a decade. He is known as one of the loyalists and close aides of the Gandhis. He had contested the 1999 Lok Sabha elections from Bengaluru South constituency but had lost to BJP’s Ananth Kumar.

With 61 MPs from UPA, 13 MPs from TMC, and MPs from other parties like BSP(4), TDP(6), CPIM(5) and SP(13) supporting him, including MPs from DMK, CPI and JD(S), Hariprasad is expected to get 109 votes in total.

While Congress has asserted its dominance over the ‘united opposition’ by posing its own candidate, the BJP’s choice to field a candidate from JD(U) for Vice Chairman is being regarded as a smart move. Political experts agree that it not only projected healthy relationships with JD(U), a key coalition partner but also showed that the BJP is willing to indulge its smaller coalition partners.

NDTV quotes a 2011 satire article by The UnReal Times as news

0

On 7th August 2018, NDTV published an article by one Nilanjana Basu that reported how Imran Khan, the Bollywood actor is often mistaken for the cricketer turned Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. The report quoted a host of incidents from Imran Khan’s (Bollywood actor) Instagram account to make their case. The quoted a post where someone had addressed a letter to “Dear Prime Minister”  to which he wittily responded with “I guess I can no longer ignore the call to action. Gonna start drafting some policy outlines this week, I’ll keep you guys updated.”

The clincher, however, came further along the article. NDTV wrote :

“That’s not it. In 2011, a CNN reporter scheduled an interview with the actor, mistaking him for Pakistani cricketing legend Imran Khan, who is now about to be appointed as Pakistan’s new Prime Minister. Here’s just an excerpt from the interview as procured from CNN by Unreal Times: “Reporter: For a fast bowler, you have quite a small build and frame. How did you manage to be successful in your sporting career despite being so puny?

Imran: You yanks have a very weird sense of humour. Er… my cute looks and puny frame help bowl maidens over, you see. Hopefully, I will continue to maintain a good strike rate going forward also.”

The “incident” quoted by NDTV to substantiate their article was actually a satire piece by the famous ‘The UnReal Times’. The portal which has now stopped its operations, and has two best-selling books to its name, ‘The UnReal Elections’ and ‘The UnReal Aliens’, had written a satirical article in 2011 titled “Journalist mistakenly interviews Bollywood actor Imran Khan instead of Pakistani cricket legend”.

Here is an excerpt from the article published by The UnReal Times :

Julia (now laughing hysterically): I was told that Cricket is a sophisticated sport that we Americans will never be able to understand. I can see why now. On a serious note, how easy was it to make the transition to full-time political activism?

Imran (raises his eyebrows quizzically): Er… I am not really a full-time activist. I sometimes take a stand on issues of dubious public interest such as filing a PIL against increasing the legal age for drinking mainly to garner some publicity and increase my star value.

Julia: Wow, you advocate that drinking should be legalized? Mr Khan, you realize that your life can be in danger for taking such a bold and extreme stand…

Imran: Hmm… now you are scaring me. Why would anyone want to kill me for taking such a stand? This is India for heaven’s sake, not Pakistan.

Julia (confused): er…but aren’t you a Pakistani?

Imran: Hell no!!

Julia: Huh? Wait a minute, aren’t you the famous cricketing legend Imran Khan who won the World Cup for Pakistan in 1992?

(Imran, whose ears slowly begin to turn scarlet, just stares at her)

Julia (still confused): Well then, who are you?

(Imran opens his mouth in indignation, but no words come out. He abruptly stands up and walks away leaving a confused Julia behind)

The following day, Imran Khan swore not to grant interviews to ignorant American journalists ever again. Julia, on the other hand, has requested that she be shifted elsewhere from the South Asian bureau citing utter lack of familiarity with the region.

The UnReal Times had pointed out NDTV’s folly in its own unique style yesterday at 8:00 AM.

NDTV has now deleted the reference to The UnReal Times and added a disclaimer that reads: “(This story has been edited to remove an inadvertent error)”

Earlier too, satire has been mistaken for ‘news’ when scientist and columnist Anand Ranganathan’s satirical tweet had triggered the usual suspects in the liberal world.

Will China regret its treatment of Muslims? Not very likely

0

ThePrint, on Wednesday, published an article by Mihir Sharma titled, “China is forcing devout Muslims to drink liquor, but the world is looking away” in which he makes the argument that “If the land-based economic corridors of Xi’s imagination are to become a reality, then China will need to build a peaceful and secure Xinjiang that’s integrated effectively with its neighbors.”

The author relies heavily on the assumption borne of his liberal ideological inclinations to reach conclusions that appear far-fetched from reality. The author writes, “A police state full of brutal re-education camps will merely provoke a terrifying backlash – and the Belt and Road will be among the casualties.” And yet, the Tiananmen Square massacre hardly had any adverse effects on the China miracle story. There was hardly ‘terrifying backlash’ so to speak. The author assumes that brutality inspires retaliation. However, the Chinese appear to be working under the premise that annihilation doesn’t inspire any and thus far, they appear to be succeeding.

The Chinese oppression of Uighurs and its general war against Islam is hardly news to any. It’s quite widely known that in its re-education camps, China forces its Muslim inhabitants to eat pork and drink wine and thus, violating the fundamental diktats of Islam. The Chinese government has also made it compulsory for all Mosques to hoist the National Flag to instil patriotic values and ideas in them. Western governments, which are normally so proactive in condemning human rights violations across the world are remarkably silent on China’s treatment of Muslims.

Not just Western countries, but Pakistan, an Islamic country appears more than willing to prostrate before the might of President Xi, ignoring the harsh treatment meted out by his administration to members of their Islamic brotherhood. The larger point is, there is absolutely nothing to indicate that China might come to regret their treatment of Muslims in the future. Only those suffering from liberal ideological delusions will come to that conclusion but there’s nothing on the ground to support that conclusion.

The massive leaps in technological advancement combined with the Chinese state’s totalitarian inclinations have granted it unprecedented power to suppress and eliminate revolutions and revolutionaries of the kind liberals, especially, are so fond of. The massive surveillance mechanism developed by the state that includes cameras with facial recognition technology to monitor its citizens makes the scope for revolutions highly unlikely.

The brutal suppression of religious practices and texts combined with re-education camps and a massive surveillance state makes it highly unlikely that a revolution without support from factions within the communist party itself could ever succeed. And with further advancements in technology, the ability of the Chinese state to step up its surveillance on its population will only get more effective. Therefore, the kind of ‘terrifying backlash’ that the author speaks of might never come to pass.

The treatment of China by world leaders speaks volumes about the nature of our world order. Despite its gross human rights record, China hasn’t been shunned by any major political country. The World is looking away, as the author suggests, and it’s looking away because trading with China is currently beneficial to all parties involved. And self-interests trumps every human rights violation committed on unknown people with unknown faces in a distant far off land.

The doctrine of liberalism assumes that embracing diversity and political freedom is essential for a state to succeed. And yet, China has constantly demonstrated that the secret to success lies not in vague ideas but effective policies and a polity that has the will and means to implement them. Liberals appear to believe in the concept of Karmic justice in their own weird way. They believe that if a state commits atrocities against their own population, justice will automatically be served to them at an unspecified point in time in the future. But that’s not how politics works.

The disintegration of the USSR had very little or nothing to do with the millions of people that were killed by Stalin during his rule. The defeat of Adolf Hitler had nothing to do with the genocide he organized. And if the Chinese state falls or suffers serious setbacks, it will be because they presented a grave threat to the might of the United States or factionalism between the ranks of the Communist party itself. That’s how the Nazi regime was defeated, that’s how the USSR collapsed.

It is, however, interesting to note, that despite the liberal delusions of karmic retribution, it is the communists that the liberals find most in common with. The ones who are responsible for totalitarian regimes across the globe. Perhaps that points to the fact that liberals don’t have a problem with totalitarian regimes per se, they have a problem when the totalitarian regime doesn’t comply with their demands and their ideals.

Unless foreign powers start funding Chinese Muslims to wage war against the State, which is as likely to happen as a virgin birth considering China’s surveillance mechanism, the Chinese will never regret the million human rights violations it has committed. Just like Stalin, who is still a hero to Indian Communists, did not. Just like Winston Churchill, whose racism led to the genocide of millions of Bengalis, did not.
