Love Jihad in UP: Minor Dalit girl from Punjab taken to Agra by accused Sahil, rescued by Hindu organisations

0

A shocking incident of love jihad has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra where a Muslim man named Sahil, a resident of Delhi, was living with a minor Dalit girl from Punjab. He exploited the victim by posing as her husband for the last four months. He was apprehended by Vishva Hindu Parishad members who then turned him over to the cops on suspicion. The authorities have contacted the Punjab and Delhi Police and sought more information to take further action.

The two moved into a rented house in the street in front of the Gogaji School in Prakash Nagar of Etmaduddaula neighbourhood and introduced themselves as a married couple. The accused identified himself as Sahil. After some time people started to develop doubts about the pair. They contacted Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini members and invited them to look into the matter.

The Hindu activists first questioned the offender who told them his name and initially called the girl his spouse. He mentioned that he was originally from Delhi and claimed that he was presently working and staying on rent at the location. They then approached the minor and talked with her during which she revealed that she was an inhabitant of Punjab where her family members had reported her missing.

She was unable to tell them anything about her supposed faith. Furthermore, locals had witnessed her bowing her head numerous times at the temple. She unveiled the reality after she was presented with these details.

The members of the Delhi Vishva Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal provided details related to love jihad to the Agra unit of the organisation after which local activists started to search for them in the Etmaduddaula region. They learned that a couple from a particular community had been living in the aforementioned locality for a few months.

However, the girl seemed quite young and didn’t appear to belong to the community. Afterwards, Lav Kush Parashar, the Bajrang Dal district coordinator along with other workers confronted Sahil to know about the truth.

The Hindu leaders disclosed that she was a minor and the culprit manipulated her into lying. He was keeping her in a rented place for the past four months. The duo was handed over to the local police by the former after which the cops notified her family that she had been found. According to the police station in-charge, legal procedure would be taken on the basis of the complaint of her family members after they arrive.

A copy of the police case that Hindu outfits filed against Sahil is available with OpIndia. According to a Durga Vahini representative, the offender had been holding the girl with him for the past four months and relocated every 15 days. The local police contacted the Punjab Police to discuss how to proceed in the situation.

Notably, on 15 October authorities arrested Sajid Qureshi for trapping a divorced Hindu woman in a relationship and then pressured her to convert to Islam. He has been booked for sexual assault. The issue pertained to Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. He first approached and the befriended her after which he established sexual relations with her under the guise of marriage.

When she pressed him to fulfill his promise he showed his real face and directed her to embrace Islam. He stated that their wedding is only possible if she changed her religion. Moreover, he intimidated her family members with death threats and compelled them to persuade her to become a Muslim.

YouTuber Abdullah Pathan becomes ‘sex doctor’ to earn crores, UP Health Dept raids hospital in Moradabad: Details

0

In the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh, the state health department on Monday (16th October) raided and sealed a hospital run by a YouTuber named Abdullah Pathan who posed as a “sex doctor”. The raiding team seized 33 samples of Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines from the hospital in question. The officials said that the seized samples will be sent for lab testing and further action will be taken after the reports come out.

Reportedly, accused Abdullah Pathan ‘treated’ patients with kidney, liver and sex-related problems. Apart from the Rs 200 fee, the fake doctor charged Rs 5000 to Rs 50000 from his patients in the name of medicines and curing their illness. Abdullah Pathan used to offer a refund to patients purchasing his medicines online if his medicines failed to cure the illness. But when several patients demanded a refund, he would blatantly refuse to return the money and tell them to file a complaint wherever they wanted. It is through this fraud that Abdullah Pathan allegedly earned crores and bought properties as well.

Accused Abdullah Pathan has over 782,000 followers on Facebook. The accused used to post videos on his YouTube channel and social media pages wherein he would make tall claims about curing sex-related problems, enhancing masculine power etc. Since the raid at his hospital in the Kundarki area of Moradabad, the accused has absconded.

During the joint raid by the Health Department, Drugs Department and Ayurveda Department, the officials found medicines without the name of their manufacturer and the price. The accused was running the hospital without a registration. It has been reported that the Health Department had filed a complaint against Abdullah Pathan over 44 times earlier, however, the now-absconding YouTuber managed to escape action using his money and power. Meanwhile, the Health Department officials have submitted a letter to the police to register a case against the absconding YouTuber turned fake doctor.

Media reports say that the accused started ‘working’ as a doctor two years back. Before becoming a fraudulent doctor, Abdullah Pathan posted fitness-related videos and vlogs. Pathan wanted to enter the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and met former WWE superstar The Great Khali. In 2020, Abdullah Pathan participated in and won a blind date contest with a video-sharing application named VMate. As the contest winner, Pathan went on a date with Bollywood actress Sunny Leone.

On 18th October, Lok Sabha Secretariat’s Privileges & Ethics Branch issued letters to Advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Nishikant Dubey to submit evidence against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra for her alleged involvement in cash for query in Parliament.

Journalist Aman Sharma shared the notice from the Lok Sabha on X.

In the letter, Deputy Secretary Bala Guru G informed Adv Anant and MP Dubey that the Committee of Ethics has decided to hear them about their allegations of Mahua Moitra taking cash and gifts from a private businessman for her queries in Parliament on 26th October at 12 PM. They both have been asked to send confirmation for the same on or before 20th October 2023.

Allegations of cash for query in Parliament against Mahua Moitra

On 15th October, BJP Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey leveled serious allegations against Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra. Based on the complaint filed by advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai, Dubey alleged that businessman Darshan Hiranandani paid for most of the questions asked by Moitra in the Lok Sabha in cash and gifts.

Following the allegations, Mahua Moitra claimed that a “jilted” ex was framing her, referring to Adv Anant. The Adani Group, often the target of political attacks by Moitra, also issued a statement in this regard and expressed their dismay over the matter. Madhya Pradesh: Garba organisers in Ujjain ban non-Hindus, make ‘Tilak’ and Aadhaar Card mandatory to prevent incidents of love jihad

The celebrations of Navratri have begun all over the country and the events of Dandiya and Garba are being organised with full enthusiasm. Amid this, one such event organized in the Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh has garnered attention for imposing special conditions on the Garba attendees.

A Garba organiser group in Ujjain has posted posters restricting non-Hindus from attending the Navratri celebrations. The posters have been put up to prevent incidents of love jihad. According to the information, the organizers of the Garba event are verifying Aadhar cards before allowing visitors to the event.

Meanwhile, the administrative authorities have also supported the move. “It is their private function, and they have issued passes for entry to the event. What is the problem with this?” stated Ujjain SP Sachin Sharma.

The organizer, ‘Sankalp Sanskrit Sanstha’, also mandated that every male Garba attendee be ‘welcomed with a tilak’. “The tilak will deter non-Hindus,” Sanstha president Bahadur Singh Rathore was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

According to the reports, Navratri Garba is a very popular celebration in these parts, and it is being conducted for the fifth year in a row on a public ground near Nanakheda on the Indore-Ujjain road. Over 5,000 individuals are believed to have attended the celebrations so far. The organizers are making announcements concerning the entry requirements for the event.

Rathore further added that the organizers are not against any religion but the move has been imposed to ensure the safety of the women. “We are not against any religion, but we want to put an end to love-jihad and restrict entry to those trying to spread animosity. Garba events were used to mislead Hindu girls into marrying men of other religions,” Rathore said.

Earlier, on 7th October, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Gujarat had asked the government to take steps to ensure that no Islamists enter into the religious pandal to lure Hindu women into conversion. VHP joint general secretary Surendra Jain stated that the Hindu religious processions were being increasingly targeted during festivals.

“Garba is an occasion to offer worship to Goddess. Some ‘jihadis’ misuse such occasions. I would like to appeal to all the organizers of garba that pandal-walas (those who construct pandals), catering service people or members of security services should not be Muslim, and they should allow entry to any person only after checking ID card and Aadhaar card,” Jain was quoted as saying.

Navratri has a special significance across the country, especially in the state of Gujarat. The worshippers of Goddess Durga observe a nine-day fast and play Garba during the nights. Many consider Garba as a form of entertainment that is performed for fun, however, Navratri has a special significance in spiritualism and is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga.

Garba is but one method of worshipping Goddess Shakti and growing closer to her. The importance of dance has been described in the ancient Vedic traditions as well. There are numerous paths that lead to God and Garba is one of them.

Jordan’s King Abdullah refuses to meet Joe Biden after Gaza hospital blast, 4-way meeting in Amman stands cancelled

0

Jordan has canceled a summit with United States President Joe Biden and Egyptian and Palestinian leaders to discuss Gaza scheduled in Amman on Wednesday, Al Jazeera reported quoting the country’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

Safadi said the meeting would be held at a time when the parties could agree to end the “war and the massacres against Palestinians” and blamed Israel with its military campaign for pushing the region to “the brink of the abyss”.

Biden had been scheduled to meet with Jordan’s King Abdullah, Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Palestinian Authority president Mahmound Abbas after first visiting Israel.

According to Al Jazeera, Jordan’s King Abdullah would have hosted the four-way summit, which would have on its agenda the need to get humanitarian assistance to Gaza to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.

Abdullah has blamed Israel for a blast at a Gaza hospital that killed about 500 Palestinians on Tuesday, saying it was a “shame on humanity” and called on Israel to immediately end its military assault on Gaza.

The cancellation reflects an increasingly volatile situation that will test the limits of US influence in the region as Biden visits Israel on Wednesday, Al Jazeera reported. The White House earlier in a statement said that US President has postponed his visit to Jordan after Tuesday’s explosion at a Gaza hospital that killed hundreds of people.

Initially, Biden was supposed to travel to Jordan after visiting Israel during its conflict with Hamas.

“After consulting with King Abdullah II of Jordan and in light of the days of mourning announced by President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, President Biden will postpone his travel to Jordan and the planned meeting with these two leaders and President Sisi of Egypt,” a White House official said.”

“The President sent his deepest condolences for the innocent lives lost in the hospital explosion in Gaza and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. He looks forward to consulting in person with these leaders soon, and agreed to remain regularly and directly engaged with each of them over the coming days,” the official added.

Biden departed for Israel from the Joint Base Andrews, Maryland on Tuesday.

“I am outraged and deeply saddened by the explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, and the terrible loss of life that resulted. Immediately upon hearing this news, I spoke with King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel and have directed my national security team to continue gathering information about what exactly happened,” Biden said in a statement before he boarded Air Force One for Israel.

“The United States stands unequivocally for the protection of civilian life during conflict and we mourn the patients, medical staff and other innocents killed or wounded in this tragedy,” Biden said.

John F Kirby, spokesman for the White House had on board the Air Force One told reporters that Biden had spoken with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before leaving for Israel, the New York Times reported.

Biden would talk to both Mr. Abbas and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt on his return flight, the US official said.
Upon reaching Israel on Wednesday to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas’s brutal terrorist attack, he will consult on the next steps with top Israeli leaders there.

Sharing on his social media, ‘X’, Biden said on Tuesday, “I’m travelling to Israel tomorrow to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas’s brutal terrorist attack and to consult on the next steps. I’ll then travel to Jordan to meet with leaders and address dire humanitarian needs–and make clear that Hamas does not stand for Palestinians’ right to self-determination.”

However, his visit has been called off for now and he would now, will only be visiting Israel. On Joe Biden’s upcoming visit to Israel, US’ National Security Council (NSC) coordinator for strategic communications, John Kirby in a video posted by White House on X, earlier today said, “The President will spend a lot of time talking about the humanitarian situation in Gaza for the Palestinian people…This is a critical time, a critical trip, and a very important opportunity, not just for the President, but for leaders across the region to make sure that we send a strong signal to terrorists and a strong signal to innocent civilians who are impacted by this conflict.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken while addressing a press conference on Tuesday informed that President Biden is coming to Israel at a “critical moment” and will reaffirm the US’ solidarity with Israel.”

He further added by saying that President Biden will continue to coordinate closely with the Israeli partners to secure the release of hostages taken by Hamas.

Blinken noted that President Biden will also receive a comprehensive brief on Israel’s war aims and strategy.

Hamas supporters attack US Embassy in Lebanon after they blamed Israel for Gaza hospital blast

Hundreds of Lebanese demonstrators, extending support to the terrorist organization Hamas and raising Palestinian flags, attacked the US embassy in Beirut on Tuesday (17th October) evening.

The development came soon after a major blast at a Gaza City hospital, which is said to have claimed several lives. According to the reports, the police had to use tear gas to clear away the terrorist supporters who had assembled outside the embassy.

US President Joe Biden was scheduled to visit the US embassy in Beirut to demonstrate his backing for the Jewish state in its fight against Hamas.

On social media, one demonstrator was filmed mounting a barbed-wire fence encircling the facility in order to plant a Palestinian flag on the embassy’s flagpole. He was applauded by other Hamas supporters. Some of them also gathered outside the French embassy in Beirut.

The simultaneous protests came only hours after the Lebanon-based terror group Hezbollah called for “a day of unprecedented anger” in Beirut in response to the bombing at the Gaza medical centre.

Some visuals of the incident have gone viral on social media. The said pictures show protesters sitting outside the US Embassy gate as fire escalates behind the gates.

The Hamas terror supporters were also seen showcasing victory signs as the fire raged behind the security gate of the US embassy. This occurred post-clashes with security forces during a demonstration in support of the terrorist group Hamas.

Several other protesters also raised placards that read, “Israel is not a nation but a criminal and a terrorist organization. #FreePalestine.” It is important to note that Hamas is a designated terrorist organization from Palestine, which first launched a brutal attack on Israel.

The Hamas-run Health Ministry has accused Israel of orchestrating the hospital explosion. The Israel Defence Forces has rubbished the claims and informed that a failed Hamas rocket was responsible for the devastation.

The strike marks the most devastating single incident in Israel’s conflict with the terrorist organization Hamas, which erupted after the latter invaded the Jewish state on October 7 and massacred at least 1,400 people.

Meanwhile, Biden’s journey to Tel Aviv was supposed to include a visit to Amman, Jordan, but the Jordanian government seems to have cancelled the same due to the Gaza City attack.

“After consulting with King Abdullah II of Jordan and in light of the days of mourning announced by President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, President Biden will postpone his travel to Jordan and the planned meeting with these two leaders and President Sisi of Egypt,” the White House said in a statement.

“The president sent his deepest condolences for the innocent lives lost in the hospital explosion in Gaza and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. He looks forward to consulting in person with these leaders soon, and agreed to remain regularly and directly engaged with each of them over the coming days,” it added.

Updating about the Israel-Hamas war, the Israeli military said on 16th October (Monday) that it has notified the families of 199 people so far that their loved ones are among those who have been held hostages in the Gaza Strip after they were abducted by Hamas terrorists during the 7th October surprise attack

The Iranian Foreign Ministry claimed that Hamas ‘potentially’ was ready to release the nearly 200 Israeli and other foreign nationals it has held hostage if Israel stops airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, the Times of Israel reported. However, the terrorist group, Hamas hasn’t acknowledged making such an offer.

Mumbai: Raeesuddin Khan strangulates his own daughter because she had married a Hindu man, arrested with 5 others

A case of honour killing of an interfaith couple has come to light in Mumbai, where a young couple’s interfaith marriage turned into a tragic tale of violence and despair.

A 20-year-old woman named Gulnaz Khan and her 22-year-old husband, Karan Ramesh Chandra, were brutally murdered on Saturday (14th October) by the woman’s father Gora Raeesuddin Khan (50), her brother Salman Khan (22), and their accomplice Mohammad Kaif.

The Mumbai Police arrested these three accused and three other minors in connection with the case on Tuesday (17th October). According to reports, the incident unfolded as the family members of Gulnaz Khan, originally hailing from Banda, Uttar Pradesh, were vehemently opposed to her marriage to Karan Ramesh Chandra, which took place in 2022.

Despite the family’s disapproval, the couple had tied the knot. The situation took a devastating turn when the family lured the couple to Mumbai under the guise of resolving their differences.

Subsequently, Gora and Salman Khan, along with their associate Mohammad Kaif and three minors, executed the heinous crime. The police investigation began when Karan Ramesh Chandra’s body was discovered with his throat slit.

The dead body was found in a well at an isolated telecom factory in the Govandi area. Upon discovering the body with a slit throat, the police initiated a murder case and also circulated his photograph to gather information.

Police interrogation of the victim’s family

Simultaneously, Gulnaz was reported missing, prompting suspicions to fall on her family. Further probing led the authorities to unravel a grim sequence of events that led to the gruesome act of murder.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone VI) Hemraj Rajput said, “We began questioning Gulnaz’s father Gora Raeesuddin Khan and brother Salman Khan and found that they murdered the couple.”

Gora and Salman, engaged in the garment business, frequently visited Dharavi in Mumbai for work, extending their stays for considerable durations. Last year, Gulnaz disclosed her relationship with Chandra to her family.

The couple proceeded with their marriage. However, the girl’s family members were angry with this interfaith marriage. They called the couple to Mumbai under the guise of resolving their conflict.

Unravelling the murder plan

DCP (zone VI) Hemraj Rajput said, “As time passed, relatives came to know it, following which the girl’s father and brother said they felt embarrassed. They decided to kill Chandra and accordingly called them to Mumbai pretending to be interested in resolving the dispute between them.”

Upon the couple’s arrival in the city, the father-son duo – Gora Raeesuddin Khan and Salman Khan – along with the son’s friend Mohammad Kaif and three other minors, took Karan Ramesh Chandra to a secluded location in Govandi.

They killed Chandra by slitting his throat and disposed of the body in a nearby well. Subsequently, in the night, when Gulnaz began inquiring about her husband, her family members took her to Kalamboli in Navi Mumbai on a false pretext.

“There they strangled her using a rope and disposed of her body in the jungle,” the officer added. During the inquiry, the accused confessed to their involvement in the murders.

The police subsequently arrested Gora Raeesuddin Khan, Salman Khan, and Salman’s friend Mohammad Kaif. Moreover, the authorities have detained three minors for aiding in the crime.

Legal proceedings are currently underway, with the accused individuals remanded in police custody for 11 days following their recent arrest. The investigation is ongoing in this case of interfaith violence.

UP: Samajwadi leader and history-sheeter Mohammad Muzaffar arrested while trying to flee in Burqa in Prayagraj

0

On Saturday (14th October), Prayagraj Police arrested Samajwadi Party leader and Block President Mohammad Muzaffar. Accused Muzaffar is a history-sheeter with over 34 cases against him including those of cow slaughter. On Saturday last week, the Samajwadi Party leader was trying to escape while wearing a Burqa, however, the police caught hold of the burqa-clad Mohammad Muzaffar and arrested him.

Reportedly, Prayagraj Police received information on Saturday that Mohammad Muzaffar is going to attend a Nikah ceremony at Prayag Garden near Bamrauli. The accused Samajwadi Party leader had gone to attend the Nikah of his alleged friend Dr Shafqat. Accused Muzaffar somehow found out that the police were coming to arrest him. He then donned a Burqa to avoid getting identified, however, the police team recognised him and arrested him.

Upon receiving information about Mohammad Muzaffar’s arrest, his supporters gathered outside the Bamrauli Police Station and caused a ruckus. Muzaffar’s wife also filed an application in the High Court fearing some ‘untoward’ incident following the arrest of her husband.

On Sunday (15th October), the police produced the Samajwadi Party leader before the court. The court sent Kaurihar block president Mohammad Muzaffar to jail. The arrest of Mohammad Muzaffar was made in connection with a case registered against him on May 11 this year at the Soraon police station in Prayagraj. The case was filed by the police upon having found a truck carrying 16 livestock in awful condition on the roadside. Eight of the cows were still alive, while the other eight had died. The corpses of the dead animals were covered in scratch marks. In this case, police had filed an FIR  under IPC 429, Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, against the unidentified truck driver and two other unknown persons.

During the investigation, the police found that the accused Mohammad Muzaffar was involved in the case. Muzaffar had been absconding since then. On Sunday, he was finally apprehended. There are roughly 34 cases filed against Muzaffar in districts such as Prayagraj, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi, and Kaushambi, among others. Moreover, details of several benami properties of Muzaffar have also emerged. In November 2022, a property worth Rs 10 crore of Mohammad Muzaffar was also attached.

Blast at Gaza’s Al-Ahli al-Arabi hospital kills over 500 people, Israel says it was a rocket fired by Islamic Jihad group that fell short

On 17th October (local time), a rocket fell on Al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital in Gaza, killing around 500 people. While Gaza’s health ministry spokesperson claimed it was an Israeli rocket, Israel countered with footage from Al Jazeera allegedly showing a missile originating from Gaza to attack Israel, falling short and hitting the hospital.

So far, the blast has resulted in the highest number of casualties in a single incident in Gaza, triggering protests in West Bank, Istanbul and Amman and drawing condemnation from around the world.

The hospital was reportedly treating hundreds of patients injured from the airstrikes, as well as providing shelter to many displaced from their homes.

Over 2.3 million Palestinians are currently trapped in Gaza as Israel’s war against Hamas continues. Egypt and Jordan have refused to take refugees from Gaza while Israel has been asking civilians to evacuate from the Strip.

The Palestinian Authority’s health ministry, Mai Alkaila, claimed Israel caused a massacre at the hospital as the strike killed hundreds of people. Countering Gaza’s claims, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that it was the “barbaric terrorists” in Gaza that attacked the hospital.

Speaking to the media, Israeli Military spokesperson Rear Admiral Danial Hagari said that the Islamic Jihad terrorist group fired the rocket. The rocket passed the hospital at the time of the strike and hit the location’s parking lot.

Speaking to CNN, Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus said they intercepted a conversation of the terrorists in which they had acknowledged a misfire.

For those unaware, Islamic Jihad is the second largest terrorist organisation active in Gaza. The Iran-backed terror group denied the allegations, claiming they had no activity in Gaza around that time. Islamic Jihad was part of the terrorist attack on Israel led by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas that killed around 1,300 people, including women, children and the elderly.

Israel used Al Jazeera’s video to prove rocket was shot from Gaza

Quoting a report from Al Jazeera English, where it was claimed that an Israeli rocket killed hundreds of Palestinians in the attack on the hospital, Israel Defense Forces published a video from Al Jazeera’s Arabic channel showing the alleged misfire. IDF urged Al Jazeera to check its own footage where a rocket aimed at Israel was misfired and exploded, hitting a building in Gaza.

There are claims that IDF shared an old video but the videos attached to those posts are different from what IDF has shared.

Al Jazeera’s post saying Israeli airstrike hit the hospital in Gaza gets ‘fact checked’ by community notes.

Al Jazeera has been assertive in its claims that it was an Israeli airstrike that hit the hospital in Gaza. However, Al Jazeera’s post claiming the same has been ‘fact checked’ by X’s community notes, saying that their own video captures the moment a rocket fired from inside Gaza misfires and hits a building inside Gaza, reportedly the Al-Ahli al-Arabi hospital, causing a large blast.

Israel Hamas war

On 7th October, hundreds of Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel through various means, overwhelming the Iron Dome with over 5,000 rockets in a matter of few minutes. They also abducted hostages and took them to Gaza. In a counterattack on Hamas by Israeli forces, more than 1,500 have been reportedly killed in the Israel-Hamas war. The death toll in Israel from the Hamas attack has now surpassed 1,300, with over 3,300 injured, primarily civilians. Israel launched a major offensive against Hamas in Gaza, restricting power and water supply and blocking essential goods from entering the region. Over 400,000 Gaza residents have been evacuated so far. Meanwhile, India has launched Operation Ajay to evacuate Indians from Israel.

Israel hits the house of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza, 14 family members including Haniyeh’s brother and nephew killed

On 17th October (Tuesday), the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) carried out airstrikes on a home that reportedly belonged to the family of Hamas Chairman Ismail Haniyeh, who currently lives in Qatar, Israeli media reported.

Citing Palestinian medical sources, the Times of Israel reported that 14 family members of Ismail Haniyeh were killed in the Israeli airstrike which was carried out in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza Strip. According to the reports, Haniyeh’s brother and nephew have been killed in the airstrike.

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon (local time), an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip eliminated the head of Hamas’s Central Gaza Brigade, Ayman Nofal, the military wing of Hamas Izz el-Deen Al-Qassam Brigades said. Nofal was also a senior commander in the terror organisation and was a member of the organisation’s General Military Council.

The Hamas commander was killed in a strike in the Bureij refugee camp. The IDF stated that the airstrike was carried out following intelligence efforts by the Shin Bet security agency and the Military Intelligence Directorate.

According to the IDF, Nofal carried out “numerous attacks against Israel and security forces.” He was previously involved in the production and development of weapons and had been involved in the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilat Shalit in 2006.

The military added that Nofal was one of the most dominant senior officials in the organisation, and was close to Muhammad Deif, Hamas’s military leader.

IDF also released a video of the bombardment which was first shared by their spokesperson Daniel Hagari.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant proclaimed that Hamas terrorists had only two options in the ongoing war: either to surrender or to die.

He said, “Hamas members have two options: Either die in their positions or surrender unconditionally. There is no third option. We will wipe out the Hamas organization and dismantle all of its capabilities.”

As part of updates on the Israel-Hamas war, the IDF and its officials have been sharing the details of the airstrikes and the targets it neutralised following the 7th October terrorist attacks and ground invasion by Hamas.

A day earlier, on 16th October, IDF shared a list of Hamas terrorists it had eliminated since the start of the Israel-Hamas war including Ali Qadi who led the mass killing of Israeli civilians during the terror attack on 7th October.

Meanwhile, on 16th October (Monday) the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) rejected a Russian resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas as the draft did not get a minimum number of votes to be passed. Russia had proposed a resolution calling for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. The Russian-led draft resolution received five votes in favour – China, Gabon, Mozambique, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Four nations – the United Kingdom, the United States, France, and Japan voted against the draft resolution. France, the US, and the UK voted against the resolution over its failure to condemn Hamas for its attacks on Israel.

Six nations – Albania, Brazil, Ecuador, Ghana, Malta, and Switzerland abstained from voting on the resolution. Notably, the resolution would have needed nine votes in favour to proceed.

Hamas carrying out psychological terrorism, IDF warns its citizens

After committing unspeakable atrocities on Israeli civilians, the Islamist terror organisation, Hamas, has now begun using Israeli women, infants, and toddlers, which they have taken hostage, to garner sympathy.

Merely three days after releasing a propaganda video where Hamas terrorists were showing ‘compassion’ for children held hostage in Gaza, the Islamist terror organisation released yet another similar video on Monday (16th October). The video is of an Israeli woman the Hamas terrorists abducted from the Supernova Sukkot Music Festival on Kibbutz Re’im, the first location which they attacked. The video released by Hamas on Telegram shows the hostage, injured with a broken arm, receiving medical treatment.

Israeli Defence Forces have warned its citizens that Hamas is using ‘psychological terror’ against Israel with the videos of hostages held in Gaza.
