‘With Israel at this difficult hour’: PM Narendra Modi on terror attack by Hamas on Israel, Israeli Consul General calls Modi a brother

Following the massive surprise attack on Israel from Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted from his X handle that his thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims of the attack on Israel by the Hamas terrorists. On India’s stand, Consul General of Israel, Kobbi Shoshani has also thanked India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted, “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour.”

It is notable that Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a terrorist attack. The top chair clearly recognising the heinous acts as a terrorist attack means that India is calling Hamas a terrorist organisation. PM Modi did not add any comments in favour of Palestine as Israel has already started counter-attacks. This is a clear message to those who align themselves with the Islamic terrorists calling Palestinians persecuted by Israel and ignoring the terrorist activities of Hamas. This shows that India will not support the terror activities of Palestinians, even though India has been taking a balanced stand on the Israel-Panestine issue.

Consul General of Israel in Mumbai, Kobbi Shoshani, said, “I would like to thank thousands of messages that I’ve been getting since the morning from the people of India, supporting the state of Israel in such a way that warms my heart and the heart of the people of Israel on a very sad day today. The stand of the Indian Government today is of significant importance in the global war against terrorism. Prime Minister Modi is a global leader and is very important to us as a state, as a friend, and as a brother. The situation of attacking the sovereignty of the state of Israel is not acceptable.”

On 7th October (Saturday), the Jewish country came under one of the worst attacks in recent history after dozens of Hamas terrorists infiltrated the Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Hamas also fired over 5,000 rockets into Israel, causing massive casualties and damage. During this attack, the Hamas terrorists captured Israeli women and paraded them amidst the chants of the Islamic slogan ‘Allah Hu Akbar’.

Hamas terrorists captured several Israeli citizens and defence personnel during the attack and took them to the Gaza Strip. The videos of many such incidents have gone viral on social media.

According to a report in The Times of Israel, Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip launched massive rocket barrages at southern and central Israel prompting it to declare a ‘state of war’. As per some reports, the terrorists have held several Israelis hostage and killed several civilians in indiscriminate firing.

The surprise attack against Israelis comes on a Jewish holiday. It also included a ground assault by dozens of uniformed gunmen who infiltrated the border town of Sderot and engaged in clashes with Israel Defense Force troops. Although it is unclear how many terrorists have infiltrated the country, on-ground reports from the Israeli town suggest that the numbers could be as high as 40-50.

The Indian embassy in Tel Aviv issued an important advisory on Saturday (7th October) for all Indian nationals currently in the Jewish nation. “In view of the current situation in Israel, all Indian nationals in Israel are requested to remain vigilant, and observe safety protocols as advised by local authorities,” it said.

The Indian embassy in the Jew nation further emphasised, “Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters. For additional information, please see the Israeli Home Front Command website (https://www.oref.org.il/en) or their preparedness brochure.”

United States: Christian pastor booked for raping a minor girl since she was 7, had raped her over 600 times in past 15 years

A Christian pastor has been booked for raping a girl since she was seven-year-old in Houston city of Texas in the United States, reported Click2Houston. The accused, identified as pastor Robert L Carter, first raped the victim in 2008.

Since then, he has raped her over six hundred times and had impregnated her when she was 16 years old. The girl was forced to give birth to the baby secretly. Robert L Carter is a senior pastor at the Sanctuary Church of Christ.

While speaking to a local news channel, the victim’s father said that the 39-year-old pastor took advantage of her. He was unwilling to be identified publicly to protect his daughter’s privacy. He added that the accused was a family member of his daughter.

“She had been around this monster since she was about 6 years old. Carter has always been big to her…I had to admit that she had been fearful,” the victim’s father said. He wondered how could a man carry himself, preach about the bible, and ‘live a lie’ at the same time.

“What if she (his daughter) had died that night? She had that baby in the closet, by herself. He (the accused) came and got the baby, took it to a fire station, and dropped it off,” he continued.

According to the criminal complaint filed against him, pastor Robert L Carter is accused of raping the girl child at multiple locations. These places included their home, a grocery store parking lot, Carter’s grandmother’s houses in addition to his church office at the Greater Bible Way Church.

It is worth noting that although a case has been registered against the accused Christian pastor, he has not been arrested yet. Meanwhile, the victim’s father said that his daughter is trying to secure the custody of her child.

Attack on Israel: Hamas terrorists parade captured Israeli women and body of a killed woman while chanting “Allah hu Akbar” slogans

Hamas terrorists have captured several Israeli citizens and defence personnel during the attack and took them to the Gaza Strip. The videos of many such incidents have gone viral on social media.

In one such video, an Israeli woman was seen abducted by the Hamas terrorists. They were forcing her inside a Jeep. All the terrorists in and around the Jeep were shouting slogans of ‘Allah Hu Akbar’ while the helpless Israeli woman remained their captive.

In another such video, Hamas terrorists were seen parading the corpse of a dead Israeli woman in an open vehicle. The terrorists were shouting the Islamic slogan ‘Allah Hu Akbar’ in this video too. The dead body of the Israeli woman was stripped.

Another video showed an elderly Israeli woman kidnapped by Hamas and being taken to the Gaza Strip. The woman was driving her golf cart when the terrorists captured her, and drove the cart away with her into Gaza. Most of these videos are shot by Hamas terrorists and posted on social media.

A video shows one couple capture by Hamas after which the woman was separated from her husband.

‘Don’t do anything that escalates tensions’: Akhilesh Yadav after Yogi govt plans to demolish illegal houses of Deoria massacre accused

The Deoria massacre case has fumed the politics in Uttar Pradesh where the incumbent Yogi Adityanath has started its action amidst the criticism from the opposition. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav issued a statement after the demolition notice was pasted on the illegal houses of local strongman Premchand Yadav and his family.

He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to indirectly advise the Uttar Pradesh government to exercise caution and appealed to take steps towards maintaining peace. “A crime would be committed if anyone involved in the Deoria incident is treated unjustly. The government and administration must maintain an atmosphere of calm and refrain from taking any actions that prove to be detrimental to the same. Peace efforts should not end in murder or retaliation of similar instances nor should such occurrences provide an opening for any power to gain political advantage.”

Premchand Yadav was reportedly connected to the Samajwadi Party and was frequently involved in land-related controversies. He utilized money and political influence to gain control of the land and was accused of forcing his way into purchasing several expensive lands at low price rates.

The arrangements are in place to run a bulldozer on Premchand Yadav’s residence and a notification which bears the mention of unlawful construction is posted outside the house. It reads that there have been illegal constructions and intrusions on government lands and his family members would have to appear in court before the Tehsildar on 7 October and respond to the show-cause notice. Otherwise, the Tehsil administration is going to issue a unilateral order mandating the demolition of the encroached land or portion of the property within the predetermined time frame.

The revenue team has put eviction notices on the houses of five accused including former District Panchayat member Premchand Yadav. The action was initiated as a result of a case that the accountant filed against five individuals at the Tehsildar Court two days prior under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code 2006.

It is noteworthy that Premchand Yadav, a resident of Abhaypur Tola and Satya Prakash Dubey from Ledha Tola in Fatehpur Village were involved in a land dispute. Gyan Prakash Dubey, the latter’s younger brother had presented the former with the deed to his portion of the land. Every day, arguments broke out between the two sides in relation to this matter.

A complaint was made to the tehsil and police administration on behalf of Satya Prakash Dubey that Premchand Yadav had built a house on public land which belongs to the forest department and government school. The case is settled through the submission of a false report because of the dominant influence in the police administration.

Premchand Yadav was the first one to be murdered on 2nd October in Fatehpur village followed by the brutal death of Satya Prakash Dubey and five members of his family in retaliation. The police had lodged a First Information Report against 27 named and 50 unidentified people in response to the complaint of the latter’s eldest daughter Shobhita. Twenty culprits have already been sent to jail.

The homes and land of all the offenders were surveyed when the gruesome event came to light which revealed that they had illegally encroached on the government land and even erected permanent houses in some parts. The Tehsil administration reached Premchand Yadav’s house and served notice that his family refused to accept after which eviction notices under 67A were given at the places of five accused.

Two of the notifications are in the name of his father Ram Bhawan as well as his brother Ramji Yadav, uncles (father’s brothers) Paramhans Yadav and Gorakh Yadav among others. They are required to present themselves in room number 2 on 7 October with proper proof and documentation. The notice of eviction has been posted by the Naib Tehsildar, according to Chief Revenue Officer Rajneesh Rai.

Premchand Yadav and Satya Prakash Dubey had a fierce altercation at the latter’s place which quickly escalated and he was fatally attacked by a woman of Satya Prakash Dubey’s family killing him instantly. As soon as the hamlet heard of his death a mob of his supporters attacked Satya Prakash Dubey’s house and fatally beat him and four other family members, including his wife Kiran Devi (52), his 15-year-old son Dipesh (also known as Gandhi), and his daughters Saloni (17) and Nandini (10). His 8-year-old kid Anmol survived the violent assault and was admitted to hospital for treatment.

Gaganyaan mission: ISRO prepares for unmanned flight tests of mission’s ‘crew escape system’

0

On 7th October (Saturday), the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced that the space agency will soon commence the unmanned flight tests for the Gaganyaan mission. As per the information received, the abort test of India’s first human spaceflight project will likely take place later this month.

The Flight Test Vehicle abort mission will help demonstrate the performance of the crew escape system and preparations for that are underway, ISRO revealed.

Taking to X, the space agency shared, “Mission Gaganyaan: ISRO to commence unmanned flight tests for the Gaganyaan mission. Preparations for the Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission-1 (TV-D1), which demonstrates the performance of the Crew Escape System, are underway.”

In a release related to the First Crew Module of the Gaganyaan test flight, ISRO added that the first development flight Test Vehicle (TV-D1) is in the final stages of preparation. The abort mission utilises the Test Vehicle TV-D1, which is a single-stage liquid rocket designed specifically for this purpose. The payload includes both the Crew Module and Crew Escape Systems.

This flight test is deemed critical for the Gaganyaan mission, as they are the key safety feature of the project. According to ISRO, the outcome of this test flight will pave the way for subsequent qualification tests and unmanned missions, leading to the first Gaganyaan mission featuring Indian astronauts.

The unmanned test launch is scheduled to take place at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. During the Gaganyaan mission, the astronauts will be seated in the Crew Module and it will separate at an altitude of 17 km. Following this, an autonomous abort sequence will be initiated, leading to the deployment of parachutes and the eventual splashdown of the module in the sea.

ISRO added that the Crew Module will be recovered after touchdown in the Bay of Bengal using a dedicated vessel and diving team from the Indian Navy.

In the official release, ISRO stated, “This Test Vehicle mission with this Crew Module is a significant milestone for the overall Gaganyaan program as a near-complete system is integrated for a flight test. The success of this test flight will set the stage for the remaining qualification tests and unmanned missions, leading to the first Gaganyaan mission with Indian Astronauts.”

According to ISRO scientists, the unpressurised version of the Crew Module, which has successfully undergone integration and testing, is now prepared for transport to the launch complex.

Earlier in July, the first batch of crew module recovery for Mission Gaganyaan successfully completed Phase-1 training at the Indian Navy’s Water Survival Training Facility (WSTF) in Kochi. The team underwent rigorous training for two weeks. Reportedly, this team will participate in the recovery of the unpressurised crew module that will be used in the first abort test mission, which ISRO had planned in August.

Subsequent to this initial abort mission, there will be a second test vehicle mission (TV-D2) and the maiden uncrewed Gaganyaan mission (LVM3-G1).

As part of the ambitious Gaganyaan project, ISRO will send a crew comprising two to three members into a circular orbit approximately 400 km above Earth. The mission will last one to three days and it has the primary goal of ensuring their safe return to Earth.

Tripura Police arrest freelance scribe from West Bengal for spreading misinformation

Tripura Police has arrested Saikat Talapatra, an independent journalist, from West Bengal’s Sodepur area for allegedly spreading canards against several political personalities.

A special team from Tripura Police’s crime branch detained him in the early hours today from his hideout in a rented house in the Muragachha area, near Barasat Road, New Town Kolkata, in the North 24 Parganas district.

He was flown from Kolkata to Agartala by the crime branch team this morning.

The accused was later produced before a local court, where the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court sent him to Judicial Custody till October 12.

The arrest comes amid allegations against him of drug smuggling, womanizing, impersonation and spreading misleading information. Talapatra had been conducting a defamatory campaign against several political personalities, with the apparent intent of tarnishing the state’s reputation, police said.

Authorities have been closely monitoring Talapatra’s activities following numerous complaints about the content shared on his Facebook page, they added.

Tripura Police’s Women’s Police Station in Agartala has also received a complaint from one Antara Choudhary who alleged she was blackmailed and compelled to give Rs 1 lakh as extortion money.

Meanwhile, he was constantly blackmailing police officials through his page in lieu of smoothly running his drug business in the state.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the page disseminated unverified news and potentially manipulated information, raising concerns about its credibility. Also, the police are investigating his drug network in the state.

Saikat is also accused of blackmailing women and other individuals in Tripura, as well as being involved in alleged antisocial activities to earn money. He blackmailed women in the state for his personal benefits, they said.

Imran ‘boti boti’ Masood returns to Congress after BSP expelled him, had threatened to chop Narendra Modi in 2014

On 7th October, Imran Masood – controversial former leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party known for his anti-Hindu and anti-Modi comments – returned to Congress. On 29th August, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) expelled Imran Masood for indulging in anti-party activities. The action was taken against him after he praised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Masood, who joined BSP in October 2022 after quitting the Samajwadi Party (SP), made headlines in 2014 for threatening to ‘cut Prime Minister Narendra Modi into small pieces’. He was a Congress leader at that time.

Maran Masood joined the Congress along with his supporters in Delhi. KC Venugopal, general secretary (organisation) of Congress, gave him the membership. Before the 2022 UP assembly elections, Imran Masood left the Congress and joined the Samajwadi Party, but he did not get a ticket in the 2022 assembly elections. He left the SP and joined the BSP. Imran Masood praised Rahul Gandhi while in BSP, due to which the party expelled him.

About joining the Congress party, Imran Masood said, “In the current situation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did Bharat Jodo Yatra. An era of transformation started after that. Right now, we see that the politics in the country is around two distinct poles viz. the BJP and the opposition to the BJP. And the politics of opposing the BJP depends on Congress only. I was in the Congress party in the past. I had a nice working experience at the party. Unfortunately, for 1-1.5 years I was not a part of the party. Now I am doing ‘ghar wapsi’.”

He added, “2024 is an important election for both the BJP and the opposition. Both sides are preparing very hard for this battle. It will be a tough electoral fight in the country. Everyone will give their whole contribution to this cause. Unemployment is at its peak. Youths are worried. New issues appear to divert their attention. So that the youths do not ask about jobs, farmers do not ask about the crop price. The BJP came to power by making false promises and now they are finding it difficult to face the people.”

When asked about roaming around in other parties and coming back to Congress, he said, “It is futile to discuss the past. Now I am joining the Congress party with new enthusiasm. It is like I am starting a new innings altogether. Priyanka ji cares for me.”

Masood said if BSP did not join the alliance (with I.N.D.I.Alliance), it would miserably lose (the Lok Sabha) elections. Following his expulsion from the party, his brother Noman Masood was expelled for similar reasons.

Imran Masood threatened to chop PM Narendra Modi into pieces

Imran Masood was contesting the Lok Sabha election from Saharanpur in UP in 2014, and during an election rally, he had said, “Narendra Modi se kaun ladega? Jo thok ke jawab dena jaane Modi *&*#@ ko.” (Who will fight against Modi? The one who knows how to give it back to this &@*&# Modi).

He had then added, “Who Gujarat samaj raha hai, 4% Musalman hai Gujrat mei, yaha 42% Musalman hai. Yaha Gujarat bana denge, @#$@# ko boti boti kaat denge… choti choti…” (he thinks this is Gujarat, Gujarat has 4% Muslims, here Muslims are 42%, we will make Gujarat here, will chop @#$@# in small pieces).

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Narendra Modi had evoked the ‘boti boti’ threat of Imran Masood during an election rally in Saharanpur. He had said, “Here (in Saharanpur), there is one individual who threatens to cut [me] into pieces. He is the favourite of the Shehzada of Congress… he (Rahul) loves him (Imran) a lot.” The PM had then said, “Remember, they are the ones who threaten ‘boti-boti’ and we are here to ensure safety and honour of ‘beti-beti’ (every daughter).”

Following his hate speech, Masood was arrested in March 2014. But keeping in tradition with rewarding hate speech, in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Imran Masood contested on a Congress ticket from Saharanpur’s Nakur seat which he lost to BJP’s Dharam Singh Saini. After that, in June 2017, he had threatened forceful agitations by Dalits and Muslims against the Yogi Adityanath government. Congress too had supported Masood’s stand on the issue. “Imran is our leader and we support the stand that he has taken locally,” Uttar Pradesh Congress President Raj Babbar had said.

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Imran Masood was made part of the Congress party’s election committee in Uttar Pradesh. He was also made the party candidate for Saharanpur, which he had lost and had come third in terms of votes after BSP and BJP candidates. Masood was also seen in the luxury bus with Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Jyotiraditya Scindia during Priyanka Gandhi’s first roadshow in Lucknow in 2019.

Prior to joining Congress, Masood was with Samajwadi Party. He was declared the Lok Sabha candidate for Samajwadi Party from Saharanpur in September 2013. However, in March 2014 he defected to Congress and contested from the Saharanpur seat on a Congress ticket.

Indian nationals remain vigilant, observe safety protocols, avoid unnecessary travel: Indian embassy in Israel issues advisory

Hours after Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas unleashed its terror on Israel, the Indian embassy in Tel Aviv issued an important advisory on Saturday (7th October) for all Indian nationals currently in the Jewish nation.

“In view of the current situation in Israel, all Indian nationals in Israel are requested to remain vigilant, and observe safety protocols as advised by local authorities,”it said.

The Indian embassy in Israel further emphasised, “Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary movement and stay close to safety shelters. For additional information, please see the Israeli Home Front Command website (https://www.oref.org.il/en) or their preparedness brochure.”

It also urged Indian nationals to reach out at +97 235 226 748 or [email protected] in case of any emergency. “The Embassy personnel remain at your disposal for any further guidance,” it further assured.

Israel under attack from Hamas

On Saturday (7th October), Hamas launched 5,000 rockets at residential areas of Israel along with a ground assault. A group of 40-50 terrorists are said to have infiltrated the Israeli town of Sderot.

Around 4 people have died in these attacks while reports claim that the terrorists have held several Israeli citizens hostage. In some videos doing rounds on the internet, uniformed terrorists in vehicles are seen parading naked bodies of Israeli citizens on the streets and raising religious and provocative sloganeering.

At least four individuals have lost their lives while more than 15 people have suffered injuries in this attack in the Israeli town of Sderot. This has prompted Israel to declare a ‘state of war‘ and PM Benjamin Netanyahu to convene an emergency meeting. Israeli security forces have asserted that Hamas has made a grave mistake and terrorists will have to pay a heavy price for this attack.

In a statement, the IDF said, “Hamas… which is behind this attack, will bear the results and responsibility for the events. Hamas carried out a combined operation that included firing rockets and a terrorist infiltration into the territory of the State of Israel.”

Pro-Khalistan elements roam free, police don’t take any action: Sikh restaurant owner says the separatist movement is active in the UK

0

Harman Singh Kapoor, the Sikh who is a proprietor of a restaurant in London, recently had his car vandalised by supporters of Khalistan and also got physically assaulted. The footage of the assault became viral on social media. Now, Kapoor has also reacted to the attack and stated that the pro-Khalistan elements have become very active in the country for quite some time.

Harman Kapoor said, “I have been staying in the United Kingdom for 26 years. The Khalistani movement has been active in the UK for the past 1.5 years. I posted a video about the same and it gained a lot of traction online. I have been the target of threats and attacks for more than nine months. They wanted me to remove the clip and apologise to them, but I refused.”

Kapoor mentioned that he believed he was safe because he was living in London, however, he was wrong. “They threatened me online, subjected me to mental agony and then on 25th February 2023, they targeted me. The people who came to attack me were Sikhs. They are disparaging India, Hindus and Sikhs. I want this fight to be over”, Kapoor said.

He added, “The police only noted my complaint and did not take any action. The attackers are roaming free and the authorities are not arresting them. Khalistanis are their political assets there. If a citizen is attacked the perpetrator should be apprehended, but in my case, the police did not take these Khalistanis into custody.”

On 30th September, unknown assailants fired shots at Harman Kapoor’s vehicle and damaged parts of his properties in two attacks within the span of a few hours against him and his family. His car was covered in red paint by anonymous miscreants.

Notably, Kapoor’s family members were compelled to live in hiding after receiving numerous threats of rape and death against them early this year for speaking out against Khalistani fanaticism. According to reports, the responsible authorities decided to turn off the family’s panic alarm despite frequent threats to them a few days before the recent occurrence.

The Khalistanis targeted his family despite several police guarantees of safety and specialised safety procedures. Despite multiple police assurances of their safety and sophisticated protection measures, the Sikh radicals targeted his family. The family felt unsafe in London since they had been the target of three attacks. Khalistani extremists stormed his restaurant called “Rangrez, the Taste of Punjab” just a few days after they swarmed the Indian High Commission in London.

Afterwards, he posted a video which garnered two million views in only two days and attracted trolls on social media who harassed him over the phone as well as online.

Israel under attack: Mayor of Sha’ar Hanegev killed in terror attack from Gaza Strip, PM Benjamin Netanyahu says the country is at war

On 7th October (Saturday), Ofir Libstein, the mayor of Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council, was killed in the terror attack by the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas on Israel, the Times of Israel reported. The mayor’s office stated that the mayor was killed when he went to defend a town during a “terrorist attack“.

Following his death, Deputy Mayor Yossi Keren will take over the post. This comes hours after Israel came under one of the worst terror attacks in recent history. Israeli security forces have asserted that Hamas has made a ‘grave mistake’ and would have to pay a heavy price for it. It has initiated ‘Operation Iron Swords‘ and launched airstrikes against Hamas hideouts in the Gaza Strip using multiple fighter jets. Reacting to these attacks, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu asserted that Israel is at war.

Earlier in the day, Hamas launched 5,000 rockets at residential areas of Israel along with a ground assault as around 40-50 terrorists are said to have infiltrated the Israeli town of Sderot. Around 4 people have died in these attacks while reports claim that the terrorists have held several Israeli citizens hostage. In some videos doing rounds on the internet, uniformed terrorists in vehicles are seen parading bared bodies of Israeli citizens on the streets raising religious and provocative sloganeering.

As per a report in The Times of Israel, Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip launched massive rocket barrages at southern and central Israel prompting it to declare a ‘state of war’.

The surprise attack came on the Jewish holiday. Footages purportedly from Sderot show armed Palestinians driving trucks and opening indiscriminate fire. In some clips, the assailants are seen holding hand gliders near the Gaza border.

In a statement, the IDF said, “Hamas… which is behind this attack, will bear the results and responsibility for the events. Hamas carried out a combined operation that included firing rockets and a terrorist infiltration into the territory of the State of Israel.”

Following the attacks, the leader of the military wing of Hamas, Mohammed Deif claimed responsibility adding that it has launched a new military operation against Israel. Mohammed Deif added that 5,000 rockets had been fired into Israel early Saturday to begin “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm” and provoked all Palestinians to fight.

It is important to note that Deif’s provocation was delivered in a recording as he has been in hiding after surviving multiple assassination attempts.

As Hamas launched a massive attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip, some mosques in Jerusalem have started inciting Muslims in Israel to fight for Jihad. Videos shared on social media show the loudspeakers installed on the minarets of the mosques being used to mobilise Muslims to fight against the defence forces.

Reportedly the mosques of the Shuafat refugee camp inside the Jerusalem municipality were using their loudspeakers to incite Islamists in Israel to join Hamas terrorists to attack Israelis. Muslims and Palestinians are being asked to rise up and join the Jihad (holy war) against the Israeli Defence Forces and the Israeli Government.
