The City Civil Court Registrar of Ahmedabad, Hardik Sagar Desai, filed a complaint against Christian at the Karanj Police Station, leading to an FIR being registered under multiple sections of the IPC.

The accused is believed to have stolen a trolley bag of one of the passengers from the Vande Bhart train. After reviewing the train's CCTV footage and passenger chart, the police found that the accused had reserved a seat under the name 'Harshit Manoj Singh Chaudhary'.

On August 21st, a 32-year-old living in the Satellite area of the city reported to the Satellite Police station saying that he was robbed by a man who posed to belong to the LGBTQ+ community.

During the hearing, the woman informed the court that she had married the man, who was already married with three children. She further stated that she married the man voluntarily and was not forced to be with him. 

The court stated that it was a "clear case of assault on a public servant" and a "clear case of attack on police machinery."

Members of the Bajrang Dal were detained after they staged a protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Ahmbedabad on Saturday, over his alleged "anti-Hindu" remarks in the Parliament.

Several policemen including a senior officer and Home Guard personnel were injured in the stone pelting by Congress workers.
