A propaganda report by Newslaundry journalist Smita Sharma attempted to whitewash the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh and even slander India while being on a government junket.
She lauded a post by Sultan Mohammed Zakaria, which contained misleading videos of Indian dams to claim that India released water from the Dumbur Dam causing floods in Bangladesh. Interestingly, this very post, which Farhana Sultana called a “spot-on analysis” was debunked by DW News.
