Manish Kashyap, a YouTuber from Bihar, was held on April 6 under the National Security Act (NSA) in Bihar for circulating fake videos of migrant workers facing attacks in Tamil Nadu.
On the 21st of April 2023, a Supreme Court bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha granted 4 weeks of protection to OpIndia editor-in-chief Nupur J Sharma and CEO Rahul Roushan in the FIR filed against them by the Tamil Nadu police.
