Garba organizers in Ujjain has posted posters restricting non-Hindus from attending the Navratri celebrations. The posters have been put up to prevent incidents of love jihad. According to the information, the organizers of the Garba event are verifying Aadhar cards before allowing visitors to the event. 

"What rights should be given to Adivasis today, what part should be given to the OBC and ST categories, this is the question in front of the country and that is why we are talking about caste census, we will get it done," he added.

According to Mandhata TI Baljeet Singh, police carried out a search and arrested Javed Mansoori from Sanawad. TI Singh added that they have filed a rape case against the perpetrator under POCSO and the SC/ST Atrocity Act

The state government has made amendment to the Madhya Pradesh Civils Services (Special Provision for Appointment of Women) Rules, 1997 to give 35% reservation to women.
