The Government of India has raised at least 334 major incidents of violence against minorities with Pakistan and flagged 3,582 such cases in Bangladesh since 2021, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh told Parliament

Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) has also strongly condemned the religious persecutions of minorities in Pakistan and urged the next government to bring legislation of equal status for all communities.

Exuberated by the central govt's decision, over 1,000 Hindu refugees from Pakistan, staying in a camp in the Majnu Ka Tilla area in Delhi, celebrated applying colours on each other's faces, singing songs and dancing.

Activist Faraz Pervaiz informed that the victim's house was looted and his belongings were thrown out.

"We want space everywhere but are reluctant to give others (religious minotiries) the same space in Pakistan," Junaid Akram said.

United States has expressed concern and asked Pakistan to probe the mob attack on Christian homes and eight churches that have been burned down.

Manmohan Singh died on the spot following the attack. He was survived by his parents, wife, son, and brother.
