The remarks of the Prime Minister were in reference to the Calcutta High Court cancelling all OBC certificates issued in West Bengal after 2010.

The Prime Minister will visit the Rock Memorial and will meditate day and night at the same place where Swami Vivekananda did meditation, at the Dhyan Mandapam from May 30 evening to June 1, evening.

Asked about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's allegation that PM Modi decides who will go to jail, the PM said, "It would be better if these people read the Constitution, read the law of the country, I do not need to say anything to anyone".

PM Modi had previously described the Calcutta High Court verdict as an eye-opener for the country.

A plea was filed in Delhi HC against Rahul Gandhi and PM Modi over allegedly defamatory statements against the Adani Group.

Regarding Pakistan's endorsement to opposition leaders, PM Modi said, "I am not aware why certain people are liked by those who harbour animosity towards us. Why does support emerge from there (Pakistan) for a few individuals? This is a matter that requires thorough investigation."

The members of the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) organisation and family members of the terrorists also voted in the election.

Opposing the religion-based reservations, PM Modi said that the Opposition (INDIA bloc) can perform "mujra" (dance) before their vote bank if they want, but he will not let them snatch away the reservation benefits of the SC/ST/OBC communities guaranteed by the Constitution of India.

During the interview, PM Modi described the Calcutta High Court’s recent decision on OBC reservations as an eye-opener for the country.

Highlighting the central government's guarantee to implement the Uniform Civil Code in the country, PM Modi criticised the Congress for opposing the same.
