A day after Hindu leader Sudhir Suri was shot, eyewitnesses to the crime have spoken to the media, accusing the Punjab police of gross negligence.

Sudhir Suri was protesting against temple authorities after the discovery of broken idols of Hindu Gods outside the temple.

The poster announced that the contest is only for women from 'general castes', even the promised 'NRI groom' was mentioned as 'general caste'. The event was scheduled to be held in a hotel on October 23.

Latest reports on the Chandigarh University Video Leak case suggest that the accused men blackmailed the accused girl student to make and share private videos of other hostel inmates.

In Chandigarh University near Mohali in Punjab, a girl was accused of recording videos of 60+ girls while taking a bath and then forwarding them to her friend in Shimla.

On September 17, it came to light that a female student of Chandigarh University was allegedly caught by fellow students living in the girls' hostel while filming another student taking a bath.
