This comes after the Delhi Police registered a case on Sunday following a complaint by the Ministry of Home Affairs in connection with the doctored videos of Union Home Minister Amit Shah being circulated on social media platforms.
Speaking to ANI, Revanth Reddy, the Congress leader and Telangana CM insinuated that Rahul Gandhi should be the PM of India for the next 20 years. However, he even made contradictory claims, saying that he has been told by BJP leaders that EVMs favour only Modi, and not Congress.
Unsurprisingly, while the BJP appreciated CM Reddy for acting like a ‘statesman’ and setting the template for cooperative federalism, several anti-Modi leaders and Congress supporters have resorted to labelling Revanth Reddy as a ‘Sanghi’ and even ‘Modi’s agent’.
The I.N.D.I. alliance partners including DMK, TMC, NCP, JDU-RJD, and CPI(M) as well as all Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states have signed agreements with the Adani group in their respective states. Rahul Gandhi has been targeting the same company with baseless allegations.
As per sources, a few leaders like Uttam Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka are not willing to concede. They reportedly don’t want to occupy a subordinate role by letting Congress appoint Revanth Reddy as Telangana CM.
