Stone pelting

Ever since its first commercial run on 17 February 2019, the Vande Bharat Express, or Train 18, has been attacked multiple times across the country.

Window panes of a coach of Vande Bharat train in West Bengal were damaged after stones were pelted.

On Saturday, a heated altercation about striking a buffalo with a stick broke out in Sambhal area of Uttar Pradesh, sparking stone-throwing from Muslim and Hindu groups

Asaduddin Owaisi has stated that unidentified individuals threw stones at his Delhi residence, located  in the Ashoka Road area, between 5:30 to 6 pm.

Kamlesh Singh, however, asserted that Hindus were being attacked with stones and petrol bombs from the mosque's rooftop. "It was neither a Friday (Jummah) nor there is a big Muslim population," Kamlesh Singh remarked, hinting that it may have been planned. 

The stone pelting and arson in Palamu caused injuries to a dozen of people including 6 policemen.

Vande Bharat Express train service was flagged off, between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, by PM Narendra Modi on January 15 this year.
