A school in Thane allegedly stripped nearly 10 girls to check if they were menstruating after blood stains were found in the toilet. The incident triggered protests from parents, leading to arrests and bookings under the POCSO Act.
The dispute revolves around a plot of over 18,000 square metres in Borvada village of Kasarvadavali, which is owned by New Shri Swami Samarth Borivade Housing Company Private Limited.
The complaint has been filed by a member of one 'Swabhiman Sanghatana'. The Secretary of the group noticed a huge flex put up by the Moinuddin Chishti Committee in the Padwal Nagar, Thane West area.
It was recently noticed that some youths were consuming drugs in Pune. Taking serious notice of this, CM Shinde ordered the Pune Police Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner to use bulldozers to destroy the unauthorized constructions related to drugs.
