The revenge killings started on 6th March after Sunni Muslim gunmen loyal to the interim government led by Ahmed al-Sharaa began revenge killings against the Alawite minority community loyal to the Assad regime.

The attack disrupted the delivery of essential goods to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is already grappling with severe shortages due to prolonged road blockades, Dawn reported.
As per the police, more than 40 individuals have been arrested for creating and escalating violence in the district. SIG Nanded, Shahaji Umap confirmed the incident and said that several shops, CCTV cameras, and hoardings of the shops were destroyed by the miscreants.
In Sambhal violence, MP Zia Ur Rahman Barq is named as prime accused for inciting a mob of 700–800. Police injured, property damaged, and four mobsters killed.
Following violance in Sambhal, UP Police is on high alert in several districts and conducting surveillance using drones. Piles of stones were found in Muzaffarnagar and Firozabad that were removed by the police and warnings were issued against such practices.
Violence gripped Sambhal after Islamists went on a rampage over a court-ordered survey of Jama Masjid that would determine whether it occupied the site of a Hindu temple.
