With election season heating up, Akula Hanumanth, an independent candidate in Telangana, has thought of a unique way to campaign. He has distributed slippers to his voters, not to wear, but to beat him up if he fails to meet his promises.

Telangana goes to votes on 7th December and Hanumanth’s unique strategy has grabbed eyeballs. The video was shot during his door-to-door campaign in Mettupalli town. Telangana Rashtra Samiti’s senior leader MLA K Vidyasagar Rao currently represents the prestigious Korutla constituency.
Telangana is all set to vote on 7th December after Telangana state cabinet dissolved the assembly in September. The results will be declared on 11th December along with four other states, Mizoram, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
