Two Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists who were behind Pulwama attack, killed by security forces

In the encounter, 4 Army personnel, including an Army major have been martyred in the encounter. 2 civilians, who were used by the terrorists as human shields were also killed.

Two Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists have been neutralised by security forces in an encounter that has been going on since last night in Pulwama. Unconfirmed reports suggest the terrorists killed are Abdul Rasheed and Kamran, who were the masterminds in the terror attack which took place last week claiming lives of 44 CRPF soldiers. Reports of stone-pelting in the neighbouring village are also pouring in as per Republic TV.

In the encounter, 4 Army personnel, including an Army major have been martyred in the encounter. 2 civilians, who were used by the terrorists as human shields were also killed.

An encounter started between the security forces and terrorists in Pinglan area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir where 2-3 terrorists were reportedly trapped. The Army personnel belonged to the 55 Rashtriya Rifles. After a few hours of the encounter, the firing had briefly stopped for some time. However, after a brief halt, the firing had resumed. The encounter is underway about 15 kms from the place where the suicide bomber killed 44 CRPF jawans last week.
