Had told Mulayam Singh that my morphed, lewd pictures were being circulated by Azam Khan : Jaya Prada

Jaya Prada had, earlier also accused Azam Khan of attempting an acid attack on her.

BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Rampur constituency and former Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Prada, while addressing a public rally, called sitting MLA of SP from Rampur, Azam Khan as the reason behind her leaving Rampur. She said that she used to call Azam khan her brother but he cursed and insulted her instead.

“Do my brothers here ever see me as a mere dancer?” she questioned. Prada said that she had even brought this behaviour of Khan to SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s notice.

The veteran actor-turned-politician said that she had even complained to Mulayam Singh that her morphed pictures were being circulated in Rampur and had asked for his help but no leader came out in her support to save her. And therefore she had to leave Rampur.

Jayaprada, who had earlier said that the character of Khilji in the movie Padmavat reminded her of Azam Khan because of the way Khan has tried to take revenge on her, had also accused Azam Khan of attempting an acid attack on her and harassing her. She said that she had no certainty whether she would be alive the next day.

Last month, Azam Khan‘s close aide and SP Sambhal District President Firoz Khan using a highly condemnable language for Prada had remarked that the residents of Rampur would remain entertained and their evenings would be colorful because Jyada Prada would be visiting the district frequently for campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections.

While AAP has claimed credit for Punjab’s rise in the education sector, the timeline suggests the state’s improvement may have begun before the party came to power in 2022. The AAP government was sworn in in March 2022. But some key surveys or studies have cited the data prior to 2022. It raises the question: Does the AAP government deserve the actual credit, or are they riding on someone else's work?
