In a shocking incident, Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy’s brother H D Revanna, who is also Public Works Minister in Karnataka government, was caught throwing food packets at flood victims on camera.

In this minute long video, Revanna is seen throwing biscuit packets at the flood victims who are catching them hungrily. H D Revanna is son of former Prime Minister H D Devegowda and the brother of Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kaumaraswamy.
It is reported that some of the people declined to eat the biscuits which were thrown at them, while some others ate the biscuit packets as they were hungry and desperate. The victims who have lost their houses and belongings were expecting massive help from the state machinery and the elected representatives. But, this arrogant behaviour from the Minister has disappointed the flood victims.
The Minister was accompanied by the Arakalgud MLA A T Ramaswami and other district officials. H D Revanna, who is also the head of the Hassan Milk Union, had earlier announced that he would distribute free biscuits and milk to the victims of Coorg and other surrounding areas.
Kodagu or Coorg district has been ravaged due to severe rainfall and has brought the lives of the people into a standstill. The Chief Minister of the state has announced Rs 200-crore fund for the purpose of relief measures in the districts hit by rains. The Prime Minister has also assured all the assistance for the rescue and relief operation conducted in the state.
