‘Not a Sikh-Hindu conflict’ – Australian Hindus call out state-owned media for whitewashing pro-Khalistani activities in Australia

On June 11, the Australian Hindu Association Inc (AHA) called out state-owned media houses, including ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) and SBS (Special Broadcasting Service), for whitewashing pro-Khalistani activities in the country. Speaking to OpIndia, President of AHA Amendra Singh pointed out that a recent report on ABC by journalist Stephen Dziedzic sidelined the concerns of AHA and Indians living in the country. Furthermore, Dziedzic extensively quoted members of a dubious non-registered organisation named ‘Sovereign Sikh Society,’ which justified the referendum 2020. The report also skipped the known links of the Khalistan moment to violence and terror.

The report talked about the so-called tension flaring up among Sikhs and Hindus living in Australia in the wake of voting designed to build “political support for an independent Sikh state in India”.

While the report mentioned that the so-called referendum has no legal standing, it failed to explain why the recent voting was held at a construction site. Interestingly, local Hindus, mainly AHA, and the government of India raised objections to the rising Khalistani elements in Australia that impacted such events.

Prime Minister Modi mentioned the issue while meeting with the Australian PM Anthony Albanese multiple times. The Ministry of External Affairs officials also mentioned the rising Khalistani elements to their counterparts. AHA wrote to the law enforcement agencies of the areas where referendum voting was scheduled and informed the venue officials about the real intentions behind the voting leading to the booking cancellation multiple times. So much so that when the Masonic Centre of Sydney learned that they were misinformed about the 2020 referendum, they cancelled the event leading to massive embracement for the Khalistani elements.

ABC’s report made it look as if it was Hindus who attacked the Khalistani elements. Quoting New South Wales police spokesperson, they mentioned two men were arrested for carrying a knife in a public place. They also quoted a Sikh organisation that claimed a man with a pro-Khalistan sticker on his car was attacked.

Sovereign Sikh Society was quoted by ABC saying, “The “proof of the pudding lies in examining the incidents themselves. It is crucial to objectively assess which community members were involved in carrying weapons to harm or were hurling abuses.”

The report made it look like a Sikh-Hindu conflict. Quoting spokesperson for the NSW Minister for Multiculturalism, Steve Kamper, suggesting recent arrests were concerning. “The Minister for Multiculturalism and Multicultural NSW are continually engaging in ongoing dialogue with community leaders to mitigate risks to community harmony and to de-escalate tensions. We all need to respect each other as Australians and respect the laws and democratic freedoms we all enjoy.”

It is clear from the statement that the Australian media are systematically whitewashing the wrongdoings of Khalistani elements. Remarks on “community conflict” coming from state-owned media and state officials are concerning.

Notably, AHA mentioned in one of its tweets that there were more supporters compared to voters at the Sydney event.

Concerns of AHA were ignored despite detailed interaction with the reporter

Speaking to OpIndia, Singh said, “The ABC and SBS (another State-owned broadcaster) have a history of being propaganda mouthpieces for anti-Indian and anti-Hindu causes such as the Khalistan movement.”

He added that he was surprised when ABC contacted him for comment. However, upon reading the questions Dziedzic had posted, it was clear what the agenda was. He said, “When I read the questions Dziedzic had posed, it became apparent that his agenda was trying to associate the AHA and Hindus with violence and to characterise the referendums as some kind of Hindu-Sikh conflict, none of which is true.”

Despite the fact it was going on the wrong line of discussion, Singh decided to provide a detailed response to each of the questions posed by Dziedzic. He also provided him with a copy of his letter to NSW Police, which set out why a Khalistan Referendum should not be held at the Sydney Masonic Centre.

However, the report skipped essential parts of the discussion. It did not mention how members of Sovereign Sikh Society, including Laddi Lahoria and its spokesperson Naseeb Kaur have insulted India, Hindu and Hindu deities.

Singh said, “Sovereign Sikh Society is a front for the banned terror outfit – Sikhs for Justice. Neither entity is registered in Australia. Yet, no Australian journalist has bothered to investigate how these referendums, the costs of which must be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, are funded by invisible organisers.”

He added that Australians have complained about bias in the ABC and SBS in the past, but the complaints were ignored. “Independent Ombudsmen must be appointed to ensure fairness in reporting both the ABC and SBS,” Singh said.

Singh also provided a list of questions and answers that AHA provided to the journalist. While the report mentioned five temples were attacked, the details of other attacks that AHA provided were not included. Furthermore, ABC completely ignored the concerns raised by AHA over terror links to the Khalistani movement. AHA expressed concerns over the non-action from the federal agencies, Victorian Police, to investigate crimes against Hindus.

Furthermore, AHA sought a task force to investigate the spate of hate crimes against Hindus and Hindu institutions, public enquiry into the activities of the Khalistani movement in Australia, including its source of funding and links to Sikhs For Justice, uniform law against carrying weapons in public places, uniform law to make it a serious indictable offence to commit at, on or towards a place of worship and uniform law against installing illegal posters and hoardings in public places. All these demands did not find a place in the report.

Rise of Khalistan in Australia

Recently, Australia has seen multiple attacks on Hindu places of worship and Hindu establishments initiated by pro-Khalistani elements living in the country. These attacks are in sync with the rise of supporters of the pro-Khalistani movement at the behest of terrorist organisations such as Sikhs For Justice. Notably, SFJ, the Khalistani terrorist organisation banned by the Indian Government in 2019 under UAPA, is conducting the so-called voting demanding a separate nation named Khalistan. A demand that the Khalistani terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale raised.

The khalistani movement that paced up in the late 1970s and early 1980s spread like wildfire in Punjab, and it took authorities around two decades to eradicate the movement from Punjab’s soil. Unfortunately, those who sympathised with Khalistanis are now reigniting the movement. Furthermore, Khalistani terrorists who fled India went to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia, among other countries and continued their operations.

There have been reports of Khalistani elements rising in Australia but failing to gain support like in Canada. However, the incidents will increase as five Hindu temples have already been attacked in Australia, and 2023 has just started. Apart from the attacks on temples, here are some examples that point towards the uprising of Khalistani elements in Australia.

Incidents such as referendum voting, pro-Khalistani slogans and posters during Nagar Kirtan, and pro-Khalistani displays at Gurdwaras have raised concerns.

NCW and NCPCR spring into action after Subuhi Khan’s complaint against Jamia scholar Dr Shoaib Jamai

Radical Islamic scholar Dr Shoaib Jamai, who insulted Subuhi Khan in a television studio, is all set to face the repercussions of his demeaning actions. He had referred to the latter’s marriage as ‘zina’ (illicit) and her son as ‘haram’ (illegitimate). Subuhi Khan has since filed complaints about the incident with both, the National Women’s Commission and the Child Protection Commission.

Rekha Sharma, chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), and Priyank Kanoongo, the chairman of the National Child Protection Commission (NCPCR), were both tagged in a tweet by Subuhi Khan which stated, “I am a legally wedded wife of Shri Neel Ratan who is a government officer. We got married under Special Marriage Act & this radical Mulla calling our marriage ‘zina’ i.e. illicit sexual relations and our five-year-old son ‘haram.’ Please take cognizance.”

Following this tweet, Rekha Sharma asked Subuhi Khan to send the full details about the case to NCW’s official email address.

Priyank Kanoongo also told Subuhi Khan to drop the details of the case to NCPCR’s official email address.

There was a debate over the upcoming movie ’72 Hooren’ by Ashok Pandit in a show on news channel News 18. Dr Shoaib Jamai, during the debate, insulted Subuhi Khan, called her marriage illicit and even dragged her son into his diatribe and called him ‘haram’. This infuriated the woman and led to Shoaib getting thrashed at Subuhi Khan’s hands. He was later escorted out of the studio.

At the time, Khan also warned him and said, “Get lost from here. Who the hell are you? I’ll also beat up your father.” She is married to a Hindu named Neel Ratan which was the reason behind Shoaib’s disparaging remarks against her.

When the Jamia Millia Islamia scholar was battered by Subuhi Khan during the television debate, anchor Aman Chopra, who was hosting the show, and other guests managed to step in and took the former away. The Delhi Police has already filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Shoaib Jamai in the case lodged by lawyer Shashank Shekhar Jha.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla commenting on the matter said, “For some time now this man has been crossing all limits of civility and decency. While I cannot control which TV channel calls him but I will not be appearing with this man on any TV debate.”

‘Number of startups in the country increased 300 times in the 9 years of the Modi government’: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh

On Saturday, 10th June 2023, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the number of startups in the country has experienced impressive growth of 300 times over the past nine years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. The Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) made this statement while addressing the ‘Young Start-up Conclave’ that took place in Udhampur, which happens to be Singh’s home constituency.

Dr Jitendra Singh said that the focus of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past nine years has extended beyond merely generating employment opportunities. It has also prioritized fostering entrepreneurship and encouraging individuals to build their own businesses.

Dr Jitendra Singh said, “The mantra of PM Narendra Modi ‘StartUp India, StandUp India’ is creating millions of job opportunities for the youth of this country who are gradually coming out of the government job mindset and are ready to take the plunge and create new opportunities in niche sectors, in turn creating scores of job opportunities.”

Dr Jitendra Singh further said (at 6:41 in his speech), “The startups in India grew 300 times in the last 9 years as from just around 350 startups before 2014, there has been a quantum jump in startups to more than 90,000 with more than 100 unicorns. The startup movement promoted by Modi is now reaching every part of the country.”

Dr Jitendra Singh emphasized that the conclave held in Udhampur provides a valuable platform to discover fresh prospects for both industries and entrepreneurs in the region. He highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir have been accorded the utmost importance, resulting in the region’s significant progress and development. As a result, Jammu and Kashmir are now effectively competing with other states and Union Territories in terms of overall development.

He added, “The year 2023 is important for many reasons as this is the year India has been able to attain G20 Presidency. This year is being celebrated as the International Year of Millets by the UNO due to the efforts of Modi which shows how the stature of India has grown in the world under the present government.”

The minister further said, “India had no dearth of talent, capability, innovation and creativity among the youth, but they were lacking a favourable milieu and proper patronage from the political leadership which was provided by the Prime Minister.”

Director CSIR-IIIM Jammu, Dr Zabeer Ahmad termed this day as historic for district Udhampur which has been chosen for this two-day ‘Start-up Conclave’. Army jawan releases video alleging his wife was stripped half-naked and assaulted by 120 men in Tamil Nadu, police deny charges and call it an exaggeration

On Saturday, June 10, a video surfaced on Twitter wherein an Army jawan alleged that a group of people “stripped half-naked and brutally beaten” his wife in Kadavasal village in Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam district. It has been alleged that the Havildar Prabhakaran’s wife was dragged and assaulted by 120 men. The woman is currently admitted to a hospital and undergoing treatment.

While the army jawan seen in the video talked about what allegedly happened with his wife and sought justice, the Tamil Nadu police, as per an India Today report, termed his claims as “exaggerations”.

Reportedly, Havildar Prabhakaran is a resident of Padavedu village in Tamil Nadu and is currently posted in Kashmir.

Havildar Prabhakaran seen in the viral video with knees bent and folded hands, said, “My wife runs a shop in a place on lease. She was beaten up by 120 men and the shop’s items were thrown out. I’ve sent a petition to SP and he has assured action. DGP sir, please help. They have attacked and threatened my family with knives. My wife was stripped half-naked and beaten very badly.”

However, Tiruvannamalai District Police issued a statement following the preliminary investigation, stating that the incident had been “exaggerated.”

According to police, a man named Kumar had leased a shop built on Renugambal temple land to Selvamurthy, Prabhakaran’s father-in-law, for Rs 9.5 lakh for a five-year period. Kumar’s son Ramu wanted the shop back when his father passed away. Therefore he agreed to return the money, and an agreement was signed on February 10 this year. Selvamurthy, according to Ramu, denied taking the money and refused to leave the shop.

On June 10, Ramu went to the shop to hand over the money to Selvamurthy’s sons, Jeeva and Udhaya, who allegedly assaulted Ramu. Jeeva was said to have slashed Ramu’s head with a knife, the police said.

Tamil Nadu police further claimed that the people present during the scuffle came in support of Ramu and the items from the shop were thrown out. Police added that although Prabhakaran’s wife Keerthi and her mother were inside the shop, the crowd did not thrash them.

Refuting Havildar Prabhakaran’s claim that his wife sustained severe injuries, the police said that it is not true, adding that Keerthi got herself admitted to the hospital later in the evening. Police have said that an investigation is being conducted on the basis of the complaint lodged by both parties.

Meanwhile, N Thiagarajan, Senior Vice President of the All India Ex-Servicemen Council Tamil Nadu, condemned the incident and demanded prompt action.

Tamil Nadu BJP State President K Annamalai stated that he spoke with the Indian Army soldier and assured him that justice would be served.

“Had a telephonic conversation with the Havildar, who is bravely serving our country in Kashmir and his wife, based out of Tiruvannamalai. Truly gutted to hear her story & I felt ashamed that this had happened to her on our Tamil soil! Our party people are rushing to attend to her now, who is admitted in a hospital in Vellore. @BJP4TamilNadu will stand with her & our Havildar’s family in getting justice for her,” Annamalai tweeted.

‘Will give govt job and money if convert to Islam’: Md Kaleem attempts to convert Hindu caretaker of a night shelter in Delhi, arrested

In New Delhi, a shocking case of forcing religious conversion has emerged at a night shelter situated in the Chandni Mahal area. Following a complaint filed by the shelter’s caretaker, the police registered an FIR and arrested the accused individual Mohammad Kaleem on 9th June 2023. According to the caretaker Sandeep Sagar, the accused Mohammad Kaleem exerted pressure on him to embrace Islam and enticed him with promises of a government job and financial incentives.

According to the complainant, the accused allegedly made derogatory remarks about the Hindu religion and promoted its boycott by sharing religious videos on YouTube. In response to these allegations, the Delhi Police have filed a case against the accused and subsequently apprehended him. The accused has been charged under Sections 153A and 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the complaint, Kaleem allegedly compelled the caretaker to recite Islamic phrases before commencing work and would show YouTube videos promoting the Islamic religion. He reportedly made derogatory remarks about Hinduism, suggesting it lacked uniqueness, and advocated for the boycott of the Hindu faith through these videos. Moreover, it is alleged that Mohammad Kaleem promised the caretaker marriage, a sum of Rs 1 lakh, and assistance in securing a government job if the caretaker converted to Islam.

As per the caretaker Sandeep Sagar, Mohammad Kaleem allegedly converted a young man named Sanjeev Kumar, who now goes by the name Abbas. Additionally, Kaleem was exerting pressure on two other individuals, Sujit Kumar and Vicky Sharma, to embrace Islam under his influence.

Recently, a 17-year-old boy was converted to Islam by two people, including a cleric, under the guise of an online game in Ghaziabad. When the family came to know about the matter, the boy’s father lodged a case against the two after which the whole matter came to light.

Some Indian students in Canada facing deportation receive stay orders after Canadian govt decided to postpone the action

Some Indian students in Canada recently received stay orders on their deportation notifications, according to official sources. They also asserted that the actual number of Indian students facing deportation from Canada is much less than 700. The Indian students, mostly from Punjab, are facing deportation from Canada for allegedly submitting false admission letters. The government of India has raised the issue with Canadian authorities in both Ottawa and New Delhi.

The reports of students receiving stay orders came after the Canadian govt decided to postpone the deportation of 700 Indian students after the students launched a massive protest. Jaspreet Singh, one of the students facing deportation, said, “My and Lovepreet Singh’s deportation from Canada has been postponed. The government has to provide a pathway to permanent residency for us.”

Jaspreet and Lovepreet are among the hundreds of students who were facing deportation from Canada after being accused by Canadian authorities of obtaining visas on the basis of fraudulent admission letters for Canadian universities. It has been revealed that they were actually victims of a fake admission gang which took large amounts of money to provide the students with fake admission letters from Canadian universities enabling them to obtain visas. Once in Canada, the students were asked to get admitted to different universities under some or other pretexts, and they were studying there. However, when many of them applied for residency permits, the scam was exposed after closer scrutiny of documents.

The Canadian authorities had been exhorted on numerous occasions by New Delhi to be reasonable and show compassion toward the students because they were not at fault. It was further noted that the latter were given visas and permitted entry into Canada due to flaws in the country’s system and a lack of diligence.

The majority of these students arrived in Canada between 2017 and 2019. They were not freshmen. Some of them received work permits after completing their courses, while others continued their studies in the country. S. Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, raised the issue with his Canadian counterpart.

The Indian Consulate in Toronto, where the majority of the students are based, has reportedly met with many of them, according to the sources. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)’s Secretary (East) also brought up the issue during his visit to Canada in April of this year.

Canadian lawmakers from all political parties have spoken out in favour of the students over the past several days. In accordance with the sources, Canada is relentlessly looking for a solution for overseas students who are experiencing uncertainty, as revealed by Immigration Minister Sean Frasier. The importance of treating students fairly has also been highlighted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“It is welcome that the consistent efforts by the government of India have been instrumental in the Canadian government adopting a humane approach and taking on board the perspective of the students,” a source informed.

Over 700 Indian students received deportation orders from the Canadian Border Security Agency (CBSA) in March after their admission offer letters from academic institutions were discovered to be false. These fictitious offer letters were used to obtain a Canadian visa under the pretence of enrolling in educational institutions there. The scam was discovered when these students requested permanent residence in Canada after finishing their course.

Each student was assessed between 16 and 20 lakh rupees for all costs, which included admission fees to a prestigious university. The amount paid to the agent did not include any airline tickets or security deposits.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) tried to exploit the situation when Punjab’s Non-Resident Indians (NRI) Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal recently tried to make an impression on Twitter by writing to the foreign minister and appealing for prompt action. “I shall be highly grateful if you again look into the matter personally and take up the matter with concerned agencies including the High Commission of Canada and the government of Canada so that these students can be saved from being deported.”

Harsimrat Kaur Badal, member of parliament from the Akali Dal, also wrote to S Jaishankar requesting him to intervene in the critical matter. While 700 students had previously faced action on the same basis, she claimed that it was now known that 200 additional students had received deportation orders from the Canadian Border Services Agency after a review of their documentation.

‘Skipped Hindu kings and taught only Mughals, children using Ammi-Abbu at home’: Parents accuse Gujarat school teacher of brainwashing children, audio goes viral

A private school located in Jetpur, Rajkot, has been embroiled in a controversy with allegations of brainwashing children. The controversy erupted after an alleged telephone conversation between teachers from Yellow Education System and a parent circulated widely on social media. In the audio, the parent accuses the Muslim teachers at the school of brainwashing the children to ignore lessons on Hindu kings and study only Muslim rulers. In response, the school has also issued a statement addressing the matter.

In a seven-minute-long audio recording, a parent mentioned specific Muslim teachers by name, claiming that they skip chapters about Hindu kings and instead focus solely on teachings about Mughal rulers. The parent also alleges that the children are being misinformed about Maharana Pratap. Furthermore, he asserts that his child, who is in the first grade, has started using terms like ‘Ammi-Abbu’ to call his mother and father at home, suggesting a potential influence from the school. This audio from the Jetpur school has gained significant traction on social media. However, it is important to note that OpIndia has not been able to independently verify the authenticity of the recording.

In the audio, the parent mentions that their other child is enrolled in the seventh grade. According to the parent, instead of covering chapters about Hindu kings in the social science subject, the teacher directly taught about Mughal rulers. Allegedly, the teacher portrayed the Mughal rulers in a positive light and stated that they killed Maharana Pratap. The parent further claims that when their child objected to this viewpoint, they were reprimanded and expelled from the class.

In the audio recording, multiple teachers, including the principal, can be heard engaging in conversation with the parent. The parent expresses concern that their children are being incited, and brainwashed highlighting an instance where their child in Class 1 came home and started using terms like “Ammi-Abbu” (mother-father). The parents also mentioned the possibility of withdrawing their children from the school and enrolling them elsewhere. Meanwhile, the principal and teachers can be heard assuring the parents that they will thoroughly investigate the matter and find a suitable resolution.

On the other hand, according to a report by VTV, a teacher from the school refuted the authenticity of the viral audio, asserting that no statements were made regarding Maharana Pratap or any other characters. The teacher also denied the allegation of the child being expelled from the class. It has been mentioned that an investigation into the matter has been initiated by the relevant authorities.

Damoh school hijab case: Bhopal Municipal Corporation identifies property owned by Ganga Jamna School owner’s relative, notice issued

One after the other, shocking revelations are being made in the Damoh School Hijab controversy as a Bhopal connection has emerged in the matter. Bhopal Municipal Corporation during its investigation has identified properties in the Ashoka Garden area owned by one Mohammad Rasheed. It has been revealed that Mohammad Rasheed is a relative of Haji Mohammad Idris Khan, administrator of the controversial Ganga Jamuna School. The identified properties include a garments shop, a guesthouse and a hostel.

According to a Nai Dunia report, Bhopal Municipal Corporation officials said that a probe is underway into Rasheed’s property in Ward No. 69 Ashoka Garden region of Zone No. 09. A notice about the properties has also been put up. Tax and property details have also been sought under section 138 of the Madhya Pradesh Nagar Palika Nigam Act 1956. The identified properties include Shri Ram Boys Hostel and Guest House. This hostel is run on a rental basis. In the hostel, there are some pamphlets and instructions in Urdu.

The Municipal Corporation team arrived on Saturday to investigate the property, taxes and building permits, but no accountable person was found in the hostel. When the residents in the vicinity were questioned, no specific information was obtained. Except for the first floor, the other floors of the hostel were locked.

Moreover, the readymade garments shop is also closed for several days. The corporation on Saturday pasted notices on the properties in question demanding a response within three days. In addition, a warning of unilateral action has been issued for failure to respond promptly.

In its notice served to the Ganga Jamna group, the Municipal Corporation asked for a copy of the receipts of deposit for the year 1975-76 in the State Property Tax Department, certified documents and a map of the purchase letter of the building and land. The Corporation additionally sought details regarding the documents related to the division of the building, the death certificate of the person involved in the property matter, religious, public, and trust-related documents related to tax exemption, and documents.

“BMC administration has served notice under Section 138 of MP Municipal Corporation Act on plot no-21,” stated Zonal Officer (zone 9) Abhishek Shrivastava. Ganga Jamna group has boys’ hostel and garment showroom on the main road.”

The controversy in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, erupted when Hindu and Jain girls were seen wearing hijabs on the posters of meritorious students from a private school named Ganga Jamna School. The school administrator Haji Mohammad Idris then tried to mislead the matter calming that the students were wearing scarves and not hijabs. The DM also dismissed the assertions after a probe, claiming that they were simply rumours and that there was nothing untoward discovered during the initial enquiries.

However, Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar revealed that Damoh Collector Mayank Agarwal is trying to save the District Education Officer (DEO) SK Mishra who is found guilty as per the prima facie information obtained. The Minister also confirmed that the state government would take action against the DEO and remove him from his post amid a comprehensive investigation that is being conducted against him.

During the investigation, the SCPCR found that Ayats and lessons from the Quran were imprinted on every wall of the school. Every girl student was made to wear a hijab and they had been taught to greet the teachers with ‘Assalam Walikum..’ and not Good Morning.

The students at the school were also asked to recite three Islamic prayers followed by the National Anthem during the assembly every day. The prayer included ‘Lab pe aati hai dua..’ by Allama Muhammad Iqbal who had advocated the formation of a separate nation for Muslims in the form of Pakistan in 1930.

Tamil Nadu: Power cut around Chennai airport during Amit Shah’s visit raises concerns, BJP alleges security lapse by state govt

Just as Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at Chennai Airport on Saturday night, there was a power outage in the area which prompted a barrage of criticism from Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. The occurrence has caused questions about the state administration’s competence to protect prominent dignitaries.

Along with other party officials, the BJP Coimbatore South MLA Dr Vanathi Srinivasan strongly objected to the instance. Due to the unanticipated blackout, the Union Home Minister, known for his strict security measures, was left exposed.

“This has to be investigated. How can there be a sudden power failure when our leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Chennai airport? This is a security lapse. This should be seriously investigated,” stated BJP State Vice President Karu Nagarajan.

While his convoy was leaving the airport and the surrounding area was completely black owing to the power failure, the minister was spotted sitting in his car. Following the incident, a number of BJP members and leaders who had assembled outside the airport to greet the Union Minister launched a protest.

The state government allegedly deliberately shut out the street lights on the road while Amit Shah was travelling to his hotel in Guindy, according to BJP workers who demonstrated close to the Chennai Airport. The party alleged a “security lapse” outside the airport in response to the abrupt power failure.

The state administration is reportedly treating the incident as a significant security breach since his safety is exceptionally critical. The unexpected power cut emphasises the necessity for a comprehensive investigation to ascertain the cause and any potential underlying reasons.

As part of a two-day trip to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, Amit Shah landed in Chennai on Saturday night. His visit is a part of the BJP’s month-long effort to spread awareness of the accomplishments of the nine-year Narendra Modi administration.

On Sunday morning, he is expected to join a meeting of party members from the Chennai South parliamentary district. Later, in the afternoon, he will speak at a public gathering at Pallikonda, a town close to Vellore, and in the evening, he will depart for Andhra Pradesh where he will address a public meeting at the Vizag railway ground at night.

Global Hindu Nation Festival to be held in Goa to brainstorm on ‘Hindu Rashtra’, discuss issues faced by Hindus

On 10th June 2023, the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti held a press conference at the Press Club of India in New Delhi to announce that it will organise the Global Hindu Nation Festival in Goa from 16th June 2023 to 22nd June 2023. Sadhguru Dr Charudatta Pingle, national convenor of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Delhi, said that if India does not want to be divided, then there is no alternative to ‘Hindu Rashtra’. He said that due to the ‘All India Hindu Rashtra Convention’ being held in Goa for the last 11 years, the discussion of Hindu Rashtra has now started not only in India but at the global level.

He added, “Now many platforms demanding ‘Hindu Rashtra’ have come up. On the other hand, supporters of jihad and terrorism are being arrested in large numbers in the country. In Punjab, Khalistanis are challenging the police administration, killing Hindu activists, while in states like Manipur and Nagaland, the houses of Hindus are being burnt. Even after the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir, the Hindus there are not safe. Looking at the brutal killings of countless Hindu girls like Sakshi, Anuradha, and Shraddha Walkar across the country by ‘love jihadis’, it seems that the situation in the country has become extremely serious.”

He added, “The reality presented by the film ‘The Kerala Story’ is not limited to the state of ‘Kerala’, but the scope of the conspiracy of these jihadis is being exposed all over the country. On the one hand, the case of ‘hate speech’ is immediately filed against Hindus as soon as they make any speeches, but no action is taken against those who openly give beheading calls. The investigation of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed that the Popular Front of India (PFI) and ISI are conspiring to make India an Islamic state by the year 2047.”

Dr Charudatta Pingle further said, “In such a situation, Hinduism is the only religion that can unite the society, present the concept of universal brotherhood and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. Therefore, if India is not to break up again, then there is no other option but to make India an ideal Ram Rajya i.e. Hindu Rashtra. Therefore, to speed up the work of establishing the Hindu Rashtra, the eleventh ‘All India Hindu Rashtra Convention’ that is now the ‘Global Hindu Rashtra Festival’ has been organised from 16 to 22 June 2023 at ‘Shri Ramnath Devasthan’, Phonda, Goa.”

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, spokesperson of ‘Hindu Front for Justice’ and Kumari Kritika Khatri, spokesperson of ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ were also present at the press conference held at the ‘Press Club of India’, Delhi.

On this occasion, Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson Kumari Kritika Khatri said, “A special session titled ‘Hindu Rashtra Sansad’ has been organised in this program. Discussions of experts on various topics, and talks of eminent personalities doing special work will also be the special attraction of this festival. The festival will deliberate on a wide range of topics such as ‘Love Jihad’, ‘Halal Certification’, ‘Land Jihad’, ‘Kashi-Mathura Mukti’, ‘Conversion’, ‘Cow Slaughter’, ‘Protection of Temple Culture’, ‘Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus’, ‘Atrocities on Hindus of Pakistan and Bangladesh’ as well as topics required to lay the foundation of a Hindu Nation.”

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said, “We are constantly fighting legal battles in the courts to free holy Hindu sites including Kashi, Mathura, Bhojshala, the so-called Kutub Minar, to abolish the places of worship act, Waqf act, minority commission, Sachchar commission, minorities ministry, the word secularism in the constitution of India, and temple acquisition. We will continue to fight this battle in the courts and we will also fight the legal battle for the establishment of the Hindu Nation. We are contributing to the establishment of the Hindu Nation by freeing the temples. We urge all Hindus to wake up and fight for the revival of their centres of faith.
