Former Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim who left acting for Islam, claims Kashmir ‘continues to suffer’

Former Bollywood entertainer Zaira Wasim, who had quit acting to embrace Islam took to Instagram on Monday to say that the UT of Jammu and Kashmir continued to suffer and claimed that voices of Kashmiris are being silenced.

The former Bollywood actress continued to mislead the public on the issue of the normalcy of Kashmir as she went on to make incorrect claims on the status of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir in her Instagram post.

Wasim wrote, “Kashmir continues to suffer and see-saw between hope and frustration। There’s a false and uneasy semblance of calmness in place of escalating despair and sorrow. Kashmiris continue to exist and suffer in a world where it is so easy to place restrictions on our liberty. Why do we have to live in a world where our lives and wills are controlled, dictated and bent? Why is it so easy to have our voices silenced? Why is it so easy to curtail our freedom of expression? Why aren’t we ever allowed to voice our opinions, let alone our disprovals to decisions that are made contrary to our wishes? Why is it that instead of trying to see the cause of our view, our view is just condemned ruthfully? What is so easy to curb our voices so severely? Why can we not live simple lives without always having to wrestle and remind the world of our existence? Why is that life of a Kashmiri is just about experiencing a lifetime of crisis, blockade and disturbance so abundantly that it has taken away the recognition of normalcy and harmony from the hearts and minds?”

She further wrote, “Hundreds of questions like these-unanswered; leaving us bewildered and frustrated, but our frustrations find no outlet. The authority doesn’t make the slightest effort to put a stop to our doubts and speculations but Stubbornly tend to go their own way to confine our existence mired in a confused, conflicted and a paralysed world. But I ask the world, what has altered your acceptance of the misery and oppression we’re being subjected to? Do not believe the unfair representation of the facts and details or the rosy hue that the media has cast on the reality of the situation. Ask questions, re-examine the biased assumptions. Ask questions. For our voices have been silenced- and for how long….none of us really know!”.

Continuing her fear-mongering rhetoric, Wasim claimed, “But I ask the world, what has altered your acceptance of the misery and oppression we’re being subjected to? Do not believe the unfair representation of the facts and details or the rosy hue that the media has cast on the reality of the situation. Ask questions, re-examine the biased assumptions. Ask questions. For our voices have been silenced- and for how long….none of us really know!”

The 19-year-old Srinagar-born former actor, in a hurry to get some media attention, seems to have resorted to fear-mongering and melodrama on Jammu and Kashmir. Ever since the abrogation of Article 370, the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been returning to normalcy with peace prevailing across the region. There have been no incidents of violence, stone-pelting or public outrage in a region that had seen nothing but violence for decades. Though the terrorists had tried to fear-monger, by killing traders and shopkeepers, the government has been able to maintain peace.

Pertaining to restrictions on the internet and communication, the government had taken a few effective steps to prevent the volatile situation in Kashmir post Article 370 abrogation. However, following the return of normalcy in the union territory of J&K, the administration has been easing restrictions that were placed earlier. Just a few days back, restrictions placed over 150 websites were removed, enabling people to now access the websites.

The easing of the internet comes after the J&K administration had restored voice and SMS facilities on all prepaid mobiles across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The bleeding heart ‘liberals’ who keep lamenting over the internet restrictions in Kashmir, often conveniently ignore the brutal violence, bandhs and atrocities at the hands of Islamic terrorists that the region had suffered for decades. However, Bollywood ‘liberals’ like Zaira Wasim, who had recently said goodbye to a career that saw a total of 3 films, claiming that it was taking her away from ‘Islam’, has perhaps tried the ‘Kashmir-card’ to gain media headlines.

3 confirmed cases in Kerala: State government declares coronavirus outbreak as ‘state disaster’

0

After the third confirmed infected case of the coronavirus in the state, the Kerala Government has declared the outbreak as a ‘state disaster’. The fatal disease that originated in Wuhan, China has now spread to 25 countries and has claimed 361 lives. China only has reported more than 17,000 cases so far.

The three patients were students studying in China who had travelled together. They have been kept in isolation and are being monitored by the health officials. Till now, 140 samples have been sent for testing. This prompted the government to declare the outbreak, a state disaster.

The Health Minister of Kerala, KK Shailaja, reiterated that the Kerala government was taking ‘proactive steps’ in preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus. The Minister assured that the announcement was not meant to scare people.

The first case of coronavirus in India was reported from Thrissur, Kerala on January 30. The second case was reported from Alappuzha in Southern Kerala. The third patient is now undergoing treatment in Kanjangad District Hospital at Kasaragod in northern Kerala. Roughly, 70 people are kept in isolation words in Kerala while 2000 suspected people are kept under surveillance at their homes in different parts of Kerala.

Besides intensifying surveillance at airports, the Central Government had earlier temporarily suspended e-visa facilities for Chinese residents travelling to India. In the face of the epidemic, the Union Government had earlier airlifted 9 Maldivian nationals and 300 Indian citizens from Wuhan, China.

Pakistani news channel claims Muslim ghosts are jamming JCBs in Ayodhya and PM Modi is afraid of Sanjay Dutt

0

Pakistan is called a ‘Parody Country’ and they justify the tag every day. After months of sabre-rattling over Jammu and Kashmir, issuing daily threats and their Prime Minister begging for Roti, money and attention from almost every country in the world, they now have put their faith upon ghosts.

A video, shared on 3 February by a Pakistani News Channel called ‘Khabar Gaam’ has claimed that Modi government in India recently tried to send JCB machines to construct the Ram Mandir at the site where Babri Masjid was demolished, the machines were jammed by ghosts and ‘unseen forces’.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF9x2kugXm8]

The clip further claims that Modi sarkar then sent a group of Hindu priests to fight with the ghosts but the priests could do nothing. It further says when the Indian government installed CCTV cameras to check the paranormal activities at the site, they were shocked to see the ghosts.

The very confident news anchor then claims that the ghosts were the spirits of the Muslims who were killed during the Babri demolition by Hindus in 1992. She asserts that the spirits of the Muslim persons are haunting the sites and are not allowing any kind of construction activity to happen.

To prove its point, the video shows the picture of a JCB machine removing some debris near a garbage truck with with ‘Sukha Kachra’ (dry waste) written on it, at the middle of urban buildings that is nowhere near the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya.

Pakistani news channel claims this is the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya

not stopping there, the news bulletin went ahead to proclaim that the Modi government is now afraid of anti-CAA protests that are taking place all over India.

Just when one starts thinking that maybe the entertainment is over, we hear that after Sunny Deol, Undertaker, and Navjot Sidhu, now Sanjay Dutt has also ‘challenged’ the government of India. We are totally shocked. Nobody cares what Navjot Sidhu does, but did we miss the news on Sunny Deol? Because last we heard, he was still very much a BJP MP and was seen in the Parliament, attending the budget session.

As for Sanjay Dutt, the video claims that he had stated that India in on the path of ‘destruction’ and the SC judgement (awarding the Ayodhya title suit to Ram Janmabhoomi) could have been easily bought by influencing judges. Perhaps our Pakistani friends do not realise how big an irony it will be for Sanjay Dutt to criticise judges and courts.

The news clip adds another name that the Modi government is allegedly afraid of. It is reportedly a Punjabi artist named ‘Babbu Mann’. We don’t know who he is so we cannot comment on how scary he can be.

Pakistani PM and his assortment of ministers have been a favourite of Indian social media users. With their ‘satellite internet’ claims for Jammu and Kashmir to weeks of howling and whining over Article 370 abrogation that has managed to achieve absolutely nothing apart from wasting their money, they are now exploring supernatural avenues. Perhaps Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, with her pet jinns and supernatural powers, is now taking an active interest in Pakistani media and its content.

Shaheen Bagh protesters, your delusions of grandeur, Jihad and hatred are responsible for the death of the baby

For quite some time, it has been evident that Shaheen Bagh would be the site of a heartbreaking tragedy. When women and children are used for the purpose of Islamic zealotry, historically, the results have not been too pretty. And now, OpIndia has confirmed that the first real tragedy at Shaheen Bagh has occurred. A two-month-old child has become a victim to the delusions of her parents at Shaheen Bagh. She has succumbed to poor health due to the harsh weather conditions during winter in Delhi.

A little infant has passed away due to the negligence of her parents but the protests at Shaheen Bagh haven’t stopped yet. The life of a baby was snuffed out by delusions and uninhibited political ambitions of a few and yet, hardly anyone seems to care. Sharjeel Imam, the mastermind of these protests, is in prison now and he is surely not aware of recent developments. Would he shed a tear for the life that was claimed by the monster he unleashed? Unlikely; after all, to an Islamist, what is the life of a baby compared to the glory of the Ummah? What is the life of a baby compared to the joy he would feel when he has succeeded in rubbing the nose of the Kaafirs in the dirt? Why should Sharjeel Imam, the bright scholar of JNU, bother about the life of some inconsequential little child that has been lost? The life of a little baby is a small price to pay for Jihad after all.

Unfortunately, it is the same mentality that appears to be driving the protesters at Shaheen Bagh. One of the protesters said, “Humne thodi maara hai usko? Allah ki bacchi thi, Allah ne apne paas bula liya. (We didn’t kill her. She was Allah’s child and she has gone back to Allah’)”. She further added, “Yahan par to bado par bhi goli maari jaa rahi hai, woh to bhala bachhi thi, qurban ho gayi (here even grown-up people are shot at, she was after all a child. She has sacrificed her life).”

Read: “Allah ki bachchi thi, Allah ne bula liya”: How the anti-CAA protests in Delhi killed a 2 month old baby

There doesn’t appear to be any remorse over the death of the child. Not a shred of guilt is to be found. If only they had accepted the CAA and NRC as Allah’s will, that little baby would still have been alive. An endless ocean of possibilities has been extinguished because her parents prioritized their opposition to Narendra Modi and the CAA and NRC over the life of their daughter. And now, she is gone.

Let it not be said that there wasn’t any warning leading up to this. A complaint was filed with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights in January against the use of children during the anti-CAA protests. However, no one paid any heed to it. Everyone ignored it and it is understandable why; because they could afford to do so.

The mainstream media, too, has contributed greatly to the demise of the little girl. They glorified her presence in the protests because it suited their agenda. They couldn’t care for her welfare when she was alive and now that she is dead, they are trying to bury the news because it will hurt their agenda. The Radical Muslim is willing to sacrifice children at the altar of Jihad and the Liberal is willing to sacrifice children at the altar of liberalism. There is a reason why liberals and Radical Muslims get along so well with each other. For both these parties, the end justifies the means.

In an ideal world, the parents of the little girl would be tried for criminal negligence. They would be prosecuted, if they have any other minor children, they would be stripped of their custody and strict punishment would be enforced upon them. But in the world we live, the negligent parents wouldn’t have to pay any price for their negligence. However, one could argue that the pain of losing one’s daughter is punishment enough for them.

One is forced to wonder at this point where does this madness end? If the death of a two-month-old baby isn’t enough to knock some sense into the head of the protesters, what possibly could? The CAA does not even affect Indian Muslims in any manner. The NRC hasn’t even been officially announced yet, nor have the rules for it been set. They have been repeatedly assured that the NRC would not affect one single Indian Muslim and yet, here we are.

Some people would obviously try to blame Narendra Modi and the BJP for this. They would claim that the innocent baby is a martyr for the cause of justice. It can be safely said only the most horrid of people, whose hearts have been eaten hollow from the inside by the hatred that festers in them, whose brains have been rendered dysfunctional by delusions of grandeur, could ever make such assertions. The little baby did not want any part in their protests, the baby could not care less for the conspiracies hatched by maniacs around her, the baby wasn’t aware at all of the circus of malice she was made a part of against her will.

Yet, there will inevitably be some people who would paint her as a martyr of their personal Jihad. She will be painted as a martyr not because it suits the agenda of those responsible for her death in the first place. All that she wanted was food for her belly and the warmth of a hearth. And it was denied to her by the very people who brought her into this world. There couldn’t ever be a greater travesty than this. Make no mistake, the infant is not a martyr. She did not have a choice in any of this. She will be portrayed as one only by those people who seek to rid the guilt of their conscience by painting her as one.

There will also be certain people who would try to minimize the tragedy of her death by pointing their fingers towards the children who lose their lives every day. Yes, it is true, it is a horrible world that we live in. Some infants do become a victim of the unfortunate circumstances they were born into. The least we could do is not add to the misery that already surrounds us. The death of every child, avoidable or otherwise, is a tragedy and a great travesty. And the death of the little baby from Shaheen Bagh is a million times worse because she was failed by the very people she depended on and counted on the most. She was failed by her parents, the people an infant considers the incarnation of the Gods themselves on this earth.

Due to the zealotry of the protesters and the unfounded fears that were injected into the minds of her parents by malicious individuals, a little baby was robbed of her life. At this sombre moment, we must all recognize the fact that this is what we are up against. This is the hatred we must overcome collectively as a nation if we are to see India occupy its rightful place in the world. We can afford to ignore this but we do so at our own peril and we risk the future of our own children in the process.

If we do not confront this vile hatred now, then we leave it to our children to combat it after it has strengthened manifold. This is where we must make our stand. Today, we have come to know that the hatred has consumed the life of a little child. If we refuse to combat the hatred now, then tomorrow, it will be our children. As a country, we owe it to the little babe of Shaheen Bagh to put an end to this hatred here and now so that we do not lose another child to this madness.

Everyone who is responsible for her death, and they very well know who they are, must reconsider their actions in light of recent events. If they do not, they will only reveal further the extent of their wretchedness. It is time for everyone to see reason. It is time for people to realize that the path they have chosen to tread does not have a light at the end of the tunnel. And should they carry on nary a thought, as they have all this while, they will only provide further evidence of the fact that their hearts have turned to stone.

“More than enough grounds for strong reaction from Muslims across India”: Police unravels shocking details from Sharjeel Imam’s phone

0

Delhi Police has reportedly found incriminating evidence against Shaheen Bagh mastermind Sharjeel Imam who is currently in police custody under sedition charges. As per a report by News 18, over 15 people associated with Imam were identified by Delhi Police through his phone, who may be called in for questioning. Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University students are also believed to be amongst these 15.

As per reports, an inflammatory poster has been recovered from his laptop which he allegedly circulated on 14th December 2019 which called for people to gather at Jamia Millia Islamia to protest against CAA and NRC. This poster reportedly led to the violence that took place on Jamia campus on 15th December 2019.

As per India TV News, in one pamphlet, Imam had said that the CAA is unconstitutional and intends to discriminate Muslims by putting them in detention camps. On Abrogation of Article 370, Ayodhya verdict and the CAA, Imam reportedly said that “There are more than enough grounds for a strong reaction from Muslims across India”. A Delhi Police source told India TV that Imam’s intention was to grab international media attention.

As per initial investigation, it has come to the fore that Imam had close links to 9 people associated with radical Islamic group, Popular Front of India (PFI). He was reportedly in constant touch with them. Police is now investigating whether he received any foreign funding.

Bhupendra Chaube and his panellists attacked by Shaheen Bagh mob, forced to cut his show short to ensure safety

Another instance of attack on the media has been reported from Shaheen Bagh. This time the victims were Bhupendra Chaube of CNN News18 and the panellists on his show. The show was conducted at the site of the ongoing sit-in protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Shaheen Bagh. As the show was progressing, the crowd turned unruly and Chaube was forced to cut his short in order to ensure the safety of his guests.

Gunja Kapoor, who was one of the guests on Bhupendra Chaube’s show, thanked him for his handling of the situation. She also expressed her gratitude towards the team of CNN News18 for ensuring that the situation did not get out of hand despite the behaviour of the crowd.

Journalists and media personnel have been attacked at Shaheen Bagh earlier as well. Bhupendra Chaube’s conduct appears to be much more praiseworthy than that of his counterpart in India Today, Rahul Kanwal. When Raghav Awasthi and Shantanu Gupta were attacked by the mob at Shaheen Bagh, Rahul Kanwal did not make an effort to effectively control the situation that he should have.

Journalist Deepak Chaurasia was attacked when he was reporting live from the site and so was the video journalist accompanying him. The camera of the channel was also destroyed. In Mumbai, in the Shaheen Bagh inspired anti-CAA protests in Nagpada, a journalist was attacked as well and his camera was broken.

The artist who shot the allegedly fake ‘crying Muslim cab driver’ video pulled down by Quint to appear in Shaheen Bagh

0

As the ongoing sit-in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi nears completion of two months, the organisers of the protest have made arrangements of entertainment for the protesters. Actor and ‘Social media influencer’ Kusha Kapila had addressed the gathering at Shaheen Bagh yesterday in what is a new addition to the protests where celebrities are invited to address and perform. A few days ago, the protest organisers had issued an appeal to artists and influencers to come and address the crowd, and accordingly, several artists have responded positively. The artists are performing at the event under the banner Artists Against Communalism.

Today the ‘official’ Twitter handle of the Shaheen Bagh protests announced that four artists will be attending the event this evening. They are, musician Ankur Tewari, Rapper and visual artist Sumit Roy, and musicians Yasif and Ghazali.

This need not be said that the artists that have offered to perform at the anti-CAA protests belong to left-liberal camp, who have peddled the lies that is being spread against the CAA over the last couple of months. One notable name among them is Sumit Roy, who had resorted to fearmongering against the CAA by claiming that due the amendment, Muslims will be forced to show documents to prove their citizenship of India, which is a complete lie as CAA does not even apply for Indian citizens.

Last month, Far-Left propaganda website, The Quint, has published a sob-story video of an alleged Muslim cab driver, who was seen breaking down due to fears of CAA and NRC. In the video, the driver was heard saying, “my heart starts pounding on just thinking about NRC. I don’t have land, neither do I have documents for land. What will I tell them to prove that I am an Indian.”

This story was immediately questioned by social media users who asked how someone without any document can become a taxi driver, that too in a city like Mumbai. After filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had revealed that the alleged driver was actually a junior artist in Bollywood, The Quint had deleted the report. In the note informing about the deletion, the website had said that they had deleted it as the man seen in the video was facing severe trolling on social media, a strange claim that a man without any document in his name is active on social media.

Most importantly, the Quint had also revealed that it had not shot the video, but they had obtained it from musician Sumit Roy. They had informed that the video was shot by Sumit, and they had published it with the permission of the musician and the man in the video.

Sumit Roy has been deeply involved with anti-CAA protests, who had visited the Shaheen Bagh protest site earlier also. He had also composed a song for the protests in collaboration with few other artists. The Artists Against Communalism at Shaheen Bagh which started on February 2 will continue till February 7, the day before Delhi votes for its assembly elections. A large number of artists are expected to attend the event in the coming days, which includes Prateek Kuhad, Peter Cat Recording Co., Lifafa, Shubha Mudgal, Aisi Taisi Democracy, Madan Gopal Singh, Saba Azad etc.

The Iowa Caucuses: The process to decide Democratic nominee for US Presidential Elections 2020 formally begins

The Iowa Caucuses are scheduled to take place on Monday. The Democratic voters will choose their preferred candidate for the run-up to the Presidential elections. Donald Trump enjoys 88% popularity in his Republican party and as such will remain the Presidential nominee. As for the Democratic party, there are 11 people still in the race.

The state of Iowa comprises of 90% white Americans as compared to 72% as a whole. As such, voting patterns in the State is different from the rest of the country.

As per the latest Emerson College polls, Democratic socialist Bernie Sanders leads the Iowa Caucus with 28% support. He is followed by Former Vice President Joe Biden with 21% support. Surprisingly, the vocal Elizabeth Warren is fourth in the race with 14% support.

The 78-year-old Bernie Sanders who lost to Hillary Clinton in 2016 Presidential Elections as the Democratic party nominee is banking on his team and his fortunes. A win in Iowa can help Sanders gain momentum, as was the case with Jimmy Carter in 1976.

As for Elizabeth Warren, she said on Friday night, “You know what I love best about them (members of Congress)?  They prove that kickass women win. 2020 is not 2016.” Even though the support for her candidature had declined in the past few months, she had been clear in her message that Donald Trump remains the “singular threat” for the United States.

Despite being 2nd in the lead for the Iowa Caucuses, Joe Bidden’s problems are far from over. Iowa Senator Joni Ernst warned on Sunday that Biden could be impeached by the Republican Party over shady Ukraine deals if he at all makes to the White House.

Anti-CAA protests: Rapid Action Force deployed at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh and outside Jamia Millia Islamia University

0

With Delhi’s assembly elections just days away, the central government has preemptively moved Rapid Action Force at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, to avoid any untoward incident leading to riots in the national capital. The area is seeing a sit-in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act for the last two months, blocking a major road in Delhi a causing huge inconvenience to people in the locality and commuters. Most of the participants in the protest are Muslim women.

A riot control vehicle has been positioned at the protest site of Shaheen Bagh where scores of anti-CAA protesters have camped since December 11, 2019, following the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act that intends to grant citizenship to the persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

While another RAF vehicle was parked outside Jamia Millia Islamia University, another epicentre of the anti-CAA protests.

Yesterday the Southeast DCP was transferred by the Election Commission, citing ‘ongoing situation’ in the area.

The Shaheen Bagh protests have seen anti-India and pro-Jinnah slogans raised by the protesters. The blocking of one of the busiest thoroughfares of Delhi has also infuriated and inconvenienced a large section of residents who are facing trouble because of the continuous encampment by the demonstrators.

The decision to deploy Rapid Action Force to avert any riots came on the heels of an incident wherein a man had opened fire at the Shaheen Bagh protesters. The assailant, identified as one Kapil, had reportedly fired 3 shots but no injuries were reported from the site.

Earlier in December 2019, after the passage of the Citizenship Law, several parts of Delhi such as Jamia Nagar, Seelampur had witnessed extensive riots as demonstrators dubbed as ‘peaceful anti-CAA protesters’ went on a rampage in the National Capital, blatantly indulging in riots, stone-pelting, vandalism and arson.

Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya: A God in captivity

0

In 1978, fate would take me to what we Muslims believe is the House of God or Allah, the black cube in Mecca built by the patriarch Abraham and his son Ishmael on the instructions of the divine.

Countless times I circumambulated the holiest structure of Islam; twice as a Haji, simply fascinated by the millions moving in the vast open space; murmurs of their prayers in hundreds of accents of Arabic, as if they were the hands of a clock.

As a Muslim of Indian ancestry, I decided I would begin 2020 with a visit to the closest place I could get to the God of the Hindus, or the site that represents the avatar who represents the trinity of Gods among the millions of deities that my Hindu sisters and brothers embrace as individual choices with no sword of blasphemy hanging over their heads or a hangman’s rope of apostate killers.

The question was this: How could one visit and pay homage to a Hindu God? As a Muslim, I was used to seeing God in abstract, but my Hindu ancestors knew the divine through deities, statues and carvings on majestic temples.

So last week I headed to the historic city of Ayodhya, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where the most beloved and worshipped god of Hindustan, Lord Rama, was born thousands of years ago as the reincarnation of Vishnu (the preserver) who along with Shiva (the destroyer) and Brahma (the creator) form the Hindu Trinity.

Read- Struggle for Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will remain a high point for Hindu civilization

Unlike the Kaaba that has rarely seen conflict, notwithstanding its destruction by the Umayyad Arab Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century, the birthplace of Lord Rama known as ‘RaamJanamBhoomi’ was, unfortunately, one of the earliest victims of the barbaric invasions of India that began in 711 AD and continued well into the 19th century when Sikhs took the fight to the enemy and took over parts of Afghanistan itself.

The founder of the Mogul Empire, Zahiruddin Babar, a petty warlord born in Uzbekistan, invaded India in the 16th century and to leave his mark of contempt towards the Hindus demolished the grand temple that marked Raam’s birthplace in the year 1527 and had a mosque bearing his name over the ruins.

Since that time, the Hindus of India have never gotten over this humiliation of their favourite and beloved Ram, his wife Sita, that are central characters of the Indian classic Ramayana.

After a lethal, legal and religious battle that dragged through the centuries, it came down to the Indian Supreme Court in November 2019 to make it clear in no uncertain words:

The Babri Mosque was constructed over a demolished temple. Evidence to support this claim came from excavations by a Muslim archaeologist K.K. Muhammad. This cleared the way for the reconstructing of a new Temple where Lord Ram, his wife Sita, his brother Laxman and Ram’s devotee Hanuman will appear again in public so Hindus can shower their respect and love to the creator and the symbol of the ideal human.

Read- ‘Tatva’ of Rama: How did Hindus sustain the struggle for their beloved Ram Janmabhoomi for 5 centuries?

But what I saw on my visit to Ayodhya and Lord Raam’s birthplace was miles of barbed wire, thousands of troops, and when I reached the historic place guarded by a peacock, I was deeply saddened by the sight.

The fear of armed attacks by my co-religionists stung by the Supreme Court decision had forced Ram and Sita to be hidden in protective custody, where one could barely see them.

It reminded me of my days in a Pakistani prison. No God should ever be held in captivity for his own protection.

For those who yell ‘Islamophobia’ at the slightest sign of unintended insult, remember: If horses can fly, so can monkeys.

If you don’t like people who worship stone idols, stop worshipping stone structures yourself.
