Gujarat Police arrested Farhan and Faisal for attacking and threatening a school principal who had been deputed to survey a Madrasa

.The accused snatched documents and mobile from the victim during the attack outside madrasa in Ahmedabad

According to the VHP, it was a pre-planned attack in which the Islamist mob vandalised several Murtis (idols) of Hindu deities. 

The police said that they have started an investigation into the matter. Further details are awaited. Meanwhile, DCP Control Ahmedabad City said that there is no need to panic.

The bus driver, Arham who committed the accident is currently in police custody and has been charged under IPC sections 304A, 279, 337, and 427, as well as sections 177, 134B, and 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

"In the incident that took place in the Gujarat University yesterday at 10.30 pm, an FIR was registered against a group of 20-25 people. Nine teams were formed to nab the accused...," Zone 7 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Tarun Duggal said in a statement on Sunday.

The accused Mehzabin Mohsin who belongs to Muslim faith threw acid on her ex-boyfriend Rakesh in Ahmedabad. The 38-year-old girl, along with her friend, threw acid on the victim saying, “Why don't you have a relationship with me?” 

Farooq Pathan threatened to kidnap the victim's son on his way to school and kill him, as well as the entire family.

There were reports that claimed that the crowd at the Ahmedabad stadium chanted Hanuman Chalisa before final match.
