Vishwa Hindu Parishad has flagged a network of fraudsters conducting a fake donation drive in the name of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust

The location where Ramesh was shot is close to Hanuman Garhi. This location is just three hundred meters from Ramesh's residence. The Ayodhya police station is also only half a kilometre from Ramesh's house and the spot where he was shot dead.

PM Modi called upon people to put their songs and poems on Ram Mandir on social media along with hashtag 'Shri Ram Bhajan.'

PM Modi said, "I urge all the countrymen to celebrate Deepawali on that evening. On the evening of 22nd January, the whole of India should be illuminated."
