The ghee used to prepare the Tirupati laddu prasadam during the YSRCP rule contained traces of animal fat.

"The victim, a resident of North 24 Parganas in West Bengal, worked as a ragpicker here. We have deployed a company of SSB and state police and are continuously monitoring social media," Bhushan said.

Three people have alredy been booked by the Uttarakhand Police for spredaing fake news over the incident.

The court stated that the accused slaughtered the cow despite knowing it was considered sacred in Hinduism and that under IPC 295, insulting any religion with malice is criminal.
