Delhi HC agreed that there should not be pilgrimage or glorification of the graves of the two Kashmirir terrorists.

After the Delhi High Court stayed the release of ‘Udaipur Files’, Kanhaiya Lal’s wife, Jashoda, wrote to PM Modi requesting its release. She said the film shows the truth behind her husband's murder and must be shown to the country.

This move follows the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, which proposed Justice Singh's repatriation to his parent High Court, Allahabad, in November 2024.

“A well-educated wife, with experience in a suitable gainful job, ought not to remain idle solely to gain maintenance from her husband. Therefore, interim maintenance is being discouraged in the present case as this court can see potential in the petitioner to earn and make good of her education,” Justice Singh said on 19th March.

Delhi HC also repeatedly granted interim protection to Khedkar. The case will now be heard by the Supreme Court on 15th April.
