The GPFI document, prepared in anticipation of the G20 Summit hosted by India, noted the significant steps taken by the Narendra Modi-led government and the pivotal role of government policies and regulations in shaping the DPI landscape.
India has held a persistent approach and policy on the Ukraine war. Its repeated attempts to broker talks between Russia and Ukraine, while also not letting the stakeholders' position derail its policy shows that India has indeed drawn the world's attention to Asia.
The Prime Minister said, “The magnificent Nataraja statue at Bharat Mandapam brings to life aspects of our rich history and culture. As the world gathers for the G20 summit, it will stand as a testament to India's age-old artistry and traditions.”
“No other G-20 presidency has tried to get together developing countries who are not on the table and say-please come, sit with us, tell us what are your concerns. And we will distil those concerns and place them before the G-20. That is a unique exercise,” the EAM said.
