ATS has arrested four men across four states, including Bihar cleric Maulana Izhar-Ul-Haq, in a probe into a Pakistan-linked radicalisation network operating through encrypted online channels.
The accused planned to carry out strikes in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as part of the anti-India agenda of the Pakistan-based terror outfit, Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The NIA court detailed how Idris abetted LeT activities through cyberspace, recruited impressionable youths, and conspired with co-accused, while rejecting probation and stressing deterrence in terrorism cases despite expressions of repentance.
