The police and security forces across the country have taken preventive measures under Section 144 of CrPC to counter violent protests that are allegedly planned in a few cities against the Citizenship Act on Thursday.
After living in India for a few years, Haseena ben had applied for Indian citizenship over a year back. She was granted Indian citizenship on 18 December 2019.
The special court upheld the prosecution's contention in 2008 Jaipur blasts case and also held the banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen for the attack.
"Announcements were made in the locality since two-three days asking us to mobilise people to protest against the NRC. We were asked to gather on Tuesday," said a protestor speaking to India Today.
Khader claimed that PM Modi and Amit Shah are trying to 'divide the country in the name of religion' after returning to power. Calling the CAA 'unconstitutional', Khader said that they will never submit the documents to prove that their citizenship.
The decision to remove him from the post was taken reportedly after Jamaat across the state and the local Muslim community in Ranipet had put pressure following his vote in support of the CAB.
The Delhi Police has also named former Congress MLA Asif Khan as one of the accused in its FIR. Six people including four local politicians and the former Congress MLA have been named as suspects in the Delhi Police FIR.
