Siddiqui mentioned in the complaint that he had been receiving threats since he attended the RSS' Guru Pujan event. He also added that his actions had enraged a few fanatics from his hometown.
The RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale raised concern over decreasing population of Hindus and added that India needs to have an effective population policy that will be applicable across all communities.
Delhi Police raised preliminary objection over maintainability of the petitions and said habeas corpus pleas cannot stand as most of the petitioners have been released on bail.
RSS Chief said that people who are against Bharat’s unity and progress are creating huge obstacles to hinder the Sanatan Dharma. "They spread Fake Narratives, encourage anarchy, engage in criminal acts, and foment terror, conflict and social unrest", he said.
