Visuals shared by India Today channel showed a patch of blood, along with nuts, bolts, and metallic objects at the blast location. CM Siddaramaiah later stated that the blast was a bomb blast, from a low intensity device.
Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi called the mix-up a printing mistake and said that the order would be rectified to direct all the schools including the private ones to sing the state anthem mandatorily during the school assemblies.
