The rising oil consumption is not only an economic issue but also, over time, becoming a health emergency. Over the last two decades, the consumption of edible oil in India has grown rapidly, burdening the economy and creating a health crisis for Indians at the same time.

"What really worries me is that it’s not particularly difficult to target those pipelines," stated an expert.

An insider mentioned, "India has crude oil in reserve for 25 days, alongside petrol, diesel and LPG for 25 days as well."

The report highlighted the Trump's plans include imposing a 60 per cent tariff on imports from China, as well as additional tariffs ranging from 10 per cent to 20 per cent on imports from other countries.
