Responding to the reports on Wednesday, 15th July, NCP (Sharad Pawar) MP Supriya Sule did not directly confirm whether the party would support the legislation.
A day before the state of Maharashtra goes to the polls, Ravindranath Patil, former-IPS officer from Pune made a major allegation against NCP-SP Leader and Baramati MP Supriya Sule and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole.
"Pawar ji was a part of the same Government that shed tears on the Batla House encounter and slept while there were terror attacks on Indian soil. This rotten mindset has to stop. I hope Pawar ji at least now, thinks of the nation first," Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on X.
Sharad Pawar said, "PC Chacko, Jayant Patil, Supriya Sule, Fauzia Khan, and many of the members of the committee were not informed when Ajit Pawar faction held the meeting on June 30, no notice was issued for that meeting."
